Weekend trips to NYC are the best, am I right? I’ve been to New York a hand full of times and every time I go, I make sure I try and do the following things:
SHOP. I much rather prefer shopping in SoHo than Times Square since there’s less people and better shops. My absolute favorite store in SoHo is TopShop! Even though Chicago finally added this trendy store in 2011, SoHo’s TopShop will always hold a special place in my heart.
EAT. I am obsessed with Shake Shack and even though I’ve only eaten there three times, I still consider their burgers to be one of my favorites. 
PLAY. I make it my goal to see at LEAST three Broadway plays each year. If Kinky Boots and Matilda don’t come to Chicago soon, I might have to make a special trip to New York to see them.
EXPLORE. I love exploring new places in New York. On my last trip, I paid a visit to the Kidrobot store. Although Chicago has plenty of stores that sell Kidrobot stuff, we don’t have a full/legit Kidrobot shop.
