#100HappyDays (Day 1-8)

March 20, 2014

“We live in times when super-busy schedules have become something to boast about. While the speed of life increases, there is less and less time to enjoy the moment that you are in.”
It’s time to stop and smell the roses! It’s time to appreciate the smaller things in life! It’s time to be HAPPY! Thursday, March 13, 2014, I decided to join the #100HappyDays challenge! The best part about this challenge is that the #100HappyDays challenge is for you – not for anyone else. It is not a happiness competition or a showing off contest. In this new series I will be gathering the photos of what made me happy each day that week!
Here’s what made me happy this week:

3/13/2014: Dinner at RPM Italian. RPM Italian has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants!
3/14/2014: Seeing The Grand Budapest Hotel opening day. It’s no secret that Wes Anderson is my favorite screenwriter and director, so seeing his latest film opening day definitely put a smile on my face! The movie was AMAZING by the way.

3/15/2014: Visiting the Dentist. My teeth had been bothering me for a while but I was happy to find out that I didn’t have any cavities! YAY!
3/16/2014: Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. I spend my last hours in Chicago eating one of my favorite Chicago specialties!
3/17/2014: Elite Daily. On this day I awoke to the email that I am now a contributing writer for Elite Daily, and I couldn’t be happier!

3/18/2014: A sign at Jimmy John’s. I didn’t use hashtags per se before they were cool but I do like a lot of televisions shows and films before they get popular or become ‘mainstream’ so this sign made me smile!
3/19/2014: Vinyl Records. Next month marks one year since I started collecting records!
Magical Mystery Tour
3/20/2014 (today): First Day of Spring! I love having a digital copy of Fantastic Mr. Fox on my computer. What better way to start Spring then with a morning movie?
