Can you be happy 100 days straight? Here’s what made me happy this week:
5/7/14: Chicago. After four long years in college, I’m finally back in my hometown Chicago. I ‘m so happy I went away for school because it really made be appreciate how beautiful my city is!
5/8/14: Dinner. One of the things I missed most about being home was quality bonding time with my mom! We often bond over food and TV.
5/9/14: Surprise Mail. I woke up on Friday with a package from BuzzFeed! I love getting mail but this was probably the best thing I’ve ever gotten! Check out what they sent me here.
5/10/14: Shopping. When picking out polishes for manicures, I usually lean toward Essie or OPI but I’m really loving the new 80s rewind collection from Deborah Lippmann.
5/11/14: Mother’s Day. My mom loves chocolate covered strawberries but since her birthday is next week and she already has two orders of Shari’s Berries coming her way, she decided on Cheesecake for Mother’s Day.
5/12/14: Unpacking and Relaxing. Although I love exploring the city, I also like staying in and catching up on my favorite shows. So after a few job interviews, I decided to stay in and start unpacking my stuff from college.

5/13/14: Museum of Contemporary Art. One of my favorite things about Chicago is its museums. I have been to each museum dozens of times but they still amaze me every visit. Check out the full trip here.
5/14/14: Sprinkles Cupcakes. I had to pick up a few Margarita cupcakes since they are Cinco De Mayo specialties and only available in May. Next to lemon, Margarita is my favorite flavor.
5/15/14: Judd! This is the second summer that I’ve been a foster parent for Chicago Paws. My first foster sons’ name is Judd. He’s a 11 week old Lab mix and he’s a hoot!
