Can you be happy 100 days straight? Here’s what made me happy this week:
6/12/2014: New York Times. I stumbled upon this amazing book while at Barnes & Noble. In case you didn’t know, I’m really into old newspaper designs and layouts. I love comparing old newspapers to modern ones. This would be the perfect gift for me (hint hint!)
6/13/2014: Anthropologie. My love for Anthropologie is no secret. I often have to stop myself from buying things I don’t need, like soap dishes and tea towels. Everything is just so cute!
6/14/2014: Record Shopping. I added three new records to my growing vinyl collection this week! You can check out the full story here.
6/15/2014: Whole Foods. Weekly visits to Whole Foods are a ‘thing’ in my family. My favorite thing about Whole Foods is their spicy corn! I seriously can’t get enough of it.
6/16/2014: Flower Shopping. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times: tulips are my favorite flowers! Purple tulips used to be my favorites but pink tulips are starting to grow on me.
6/17/2014: The Grand Budapest Hotel. The latest film from my favorite director, (and screenwriter) Wes Anderson, came out on DVD this week.
6/18/2014: Ice Cream. The weather in Chicago has been increasingly hot but luckily I can cool down with some good ‘ole fashion ice cream!
6/19/2014: Fujifilm instax mini 8. My new camera, Harper, is my new favorite thing! Make sure to check out this post to learn more about Harper and the benefits of rewarding yourself!
6/20/2014: Memories. I spend Friday digging through our garage on a search to find old records when I came across some really cute family photos. This photo was taken Christmas 1998, or as we liked to call it “The Barbie Christmas.”
6/21/2014: Summer. It’s SUMMER! What better why to end such an amazing challenge than by welcoming in a new season? Another great way to start summer? Gelato taste testing!
