It’s the middle (almost the end) of the month which can only mean one thing: subscription boxes are starting to arrive (it’s like Christmas every month!) After reviewing their august box, the lovely folks at Beauty Box 5 decided to offer me a full monthly subscription service (thanks BB5, you guys rock!) Meaning, along with my other subscription boxes posts, I’ll now be reviewing the items I get each month in my Beauty Box 5 box! It seems that a lot of people are displeased with this month’s box and in all honesty, I was too at first. For a “beauty” box, there weren’t ANY actual beauty products. With that being said, I always try and look for the silver lining in every situation, so while this month’s box wasn’t all that good, there were still some positives! This month’s “Gracefully Grounded” box is perfect for anyone who (like me) will be traveling this holiday season (or any time in the near future!)

Dove Nutrium Deep Moisture Body Wash. I know what you’re thinking, “really, a body wash in a beauty box?” While it might be a little odd, this travel sized Dove will be perfect to throw in my suitcase next month when I go to Florida.

Dentek Floss Picks. Again, a little odd for a “beauty” box but I actually use this tooth picks often. This travel case will also be perfect for my upcoming trip.

HASK Macadamia Revitalizing Shine Oil. I say this in EVERY subscription box post, I LOVE trying new hair care products, so this item was a positive in my book. Plus, like everything else in this box, it’s the perfect size for travel!beauty box 5, bb5, November beauty box 5, beauty box 5 november, monthly subscription boxes, monthly subscription boxes beauty box 5
Laura Ashley Sweet Peony Butter. I usually love body butters, and while this item did make my skin feel soft, the scent really wasn’t for me. I’m more into flowery scents (which this was not.)

Nicka K New York Eye Light Crayon. This was one of my favorite items! The retractable pen applicator makes it so easy to apply (which is saying something because I’m terrible at putting on any kind of eye makeup!)

Overall, it wasn’t the best Beauty Box 5 box (or subscription box) I’ve ever received but at least the travel sized Dove body wash, floss picks and revitalizing shine oil will go to some use when I travel next month. Here’s hoping for an awesome December box (fingers crossed!)
