Happy Thursday! Welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup! Today’s BB&BR is dedicated to Funko’s newest Mystery Mini line: Frozen. Just when you think Frozen Mania has ended, it creeps back up and slaps you in the face. It’s crazy to think that a film that came out almost two years ago is still heavily marketable (but that’s Disney for you!) I really LOVE the Funko Frozen Pocket Pops (how adorable is mini Anna) so I though I’d give the Frozen Mystery Mini’s a chance. Supposedly these blind boxes have been hard to find/selling out fast so when I spotted three boxes in Barnes & Noble last week, I immediately grabbed them!
As soon as I saw the figures you could get out of these blind boxes, I immediately wanted young Elsa and Anna! They’re definitely the cutest figures out of the whole series. If I’m being honest, I’m not the biggest Frozen fan (it’s a cute movie don’t get me wrong and of course the songs are catchy) so I don’t really have a ‘favorite’ character. I personally like Anna more than Elsa, so getting any Anna figure would be aweomse. In all honesty the only figures that I don’t really want is Marshmallow the Snowman (unless it’s the rare 1/72 figure) or Sven (his figure looks super creepy!) (The upside down Olaf is pretty creepy looking too!)
I have to admit, these figures are WAY cuter than I’d thought they’d be! From left to right I got: Young Elsa, Young Anna and (hand raised?) Elsa. I was a little confused at first because on the back of the box Young Anna is wearing a blue nightgown and as you can see, my Anna is wearing yellow? Maybe it’s a factory error? I LOVE the detail in adult Elsa’s hair. I’ve always though Elsa had excellent hair and this figure confirms it! I’m so happy I got the figures I wanted (I’ve been having a lot of luck with blind figures lately!) I definitely recommend these for any Frozen, Funko or Vinyl figure lover!
