Happy Wednesday Everyone! We’re halfway through another week already (man is time FLYING by!) I’m so excited because I’m halfway through week two of daily blogging (I really want to keep this up!) Welcome to the third installment of Disney During the Holidays! I’ve absolutely loved going through all my Disney photos and reliving the pure magic of Disney World during Christmas! While Disney World is always magical, there’s something extra special about spending the holidays there.
Hollywood Studios Christmas tree was really gorgeous. It was definitely the simplest of the four parks trees with regular colored ornaments, candy canes and mini Santa’s decorating its body. At the bottom of the tree were several film reels with different holiday images on each of them.
I still can’t believe the Sorcerer’s Hat is actually gone but at least I got to see it one last time! I’m still getting over the fact that it’s Hollywood Studios and not MGM anymore. I can’t wait to visit Disney World again this summer and see what the park looks like without it!
One of my favorite things about Disney is all the little exhibits throughout the parks! One of my favorite exhibits at Hollywood Studios is Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream, a multimedia gallery exhibit of rare artifacts and an inspiring 15-minute film about Walt Disney’s life. I LOVE getting to see rare Disney artifacts, props and behind the scenes stuff! Pictured above is a replica of Walt Disney’s actual office! How cool is that?!
I LOVE the Tower of Terror! It’s probably one of my favorite rides of all time and definielty tied with the Rock n’ Roller coaster as my favorite Hollywood Studios thrill ride (my favorite ride recently became Toy Story Mania!)
The BEST thing about visiting Hollywood Studios during the holidays is the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights! Seriously, I think EVERYONE (Disney fan or not) should experience this amazing spectacle in person! It literally brought me to tears, that’s how amazing it was.
Hollywood Studios definitely knows how to throw a great Christmas party! In fact, my mother and I have decided to start a new tradition of spending every Christmas at Disney World. Although we LOVED spending Christmas Day at Epcot, we’ve decided we want to spend next Christmas at Hollywood Studios!
