Mother’s Day is right around the corner and it’s never too early to start shopping for that special mom in your life! Mother’s Day has always been a huge holiday in my house. Growing up with a single mom, my sister and I always went above and beyond on Mother’s Day (and every other day of course) to show her just how much she means to us. I know the term ‘Super Mom’ gets thrown around a lot but my mom IS a Super Mom! Not only was she a single mom to two little girls, after moving back to Chicago when her term in the Navy was up, she balanced raising us and going to college to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. Now almost two decades, TWO Master’s Degrees and 15 years of teaching later, she’s the PROUD mother of TWO college graduates! I’m so thankful for everything my mom has done for my sister and I. I know being a single mom isn’t easy but she did everything in her power to give us the BEST childhood ever! Finding the perfect gift for a Super Mom (like mine,) isn’t as hard as you’d think! Luckily, American Greetings and Walmart’s got us covered this Mother’s Day!
Candles, cards, stuffed animals, candy, flowers, basically anything you would need to put together an amazing gift for the special Mom in your life can be found at American Greetings “One-Stop Shop” display (available exclusively at Walmart.) Located behind the card aisle, this display is perfect for anyone (like me) looking to spoil the Super Mom in their life! 
My favorite thing about the American Greetings “One-Stop Shop” was how reasonable the prices were! I was able to pick up four “#1 Mom” themed items (for my Super Mom Gift Basket) for less than $25 (talk about a GREAT deal!)
My moms LOVES decorating her desk (this year marks her 15th year of teaching, way to go mom) with cute little knick knacks, so the first thing I got her was an adorable “#1 Mom” flower pot! The blue and white bow wrapped around it is perfect because those are the colors of her classroom! Personally, my favorite thing about holidays is the card (am I right?) Nothing makes me smile more than a cute, funny or sentimental card. This year I opted for a cute card (how adorable is that little pink bike?) I love the Lily Pad Press for American Greetings collection!
One of my favorite items from the American Greetings ‘One-Stop Shop” was the reusable coffee cups. My mom is a huge tea and hot cocoa drinker (even in the warmer months) so I knew this would be perfect for her. One thing my mom loves even more than a good cup of hot cocoa? Plushies (I guess that’s where I get my love of stuffed animals from!) How adorable is this stuffed bear? What a perfect gift to symbolize exactly what my mom is, a ‘Super Mom!’ 
I can’t wait to give my ‘Super Mom’ her super amazing Mother’s Day gifts and then two weeks later (for her birthday) celebrate just how AMAZING she is with a trip to California to celebrate the Disneyland 60th Anniversary Diamond celebration!
