12 months of happiness July 2015
Can you believe today’s the LAST day of July?! I know I say that every month but seriously, it seems like 2015 is FLYING BY! I’m so excited because TODAY IS LOLLAPALOOZA! This year I decided to FINALLY get 3 day passes (I’ve never gotten more than a 1 day passes before) and I couldn’t be happier about my decision. This years lineup is amazing! Seriously, TONIGHT I get to see SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY (and a ton of other amazing artists.) I’ve been a Beatles/Paul fan since I was three or four years old so getting to see 1/4 of the Beatles live is a dream come true (if Ringo ever comes to Chicago you better believe I’ll be there!) Make sure to add me on Snapchat (simplysinova), twitter and IG  because I’ll be snapping, live tweeting and posting lots of Lollapalooza updates all weekend long! 12 months of happiness julyJuly was a GREAT month for Tsum Tsum’s! This month’s Disney Store Tsum Tsum Tuesday release was the Lilo & Stitch series. I LOVE Lilo & Stitch, it’s one of my favorite Disney movies. Fun fact: my mom’s nickname is Lilo (not because of this movie, it’s a play on her name) so when this movie came out, I instantly felt a deep connection to it. This month I also found the entire Alice in Wonderland (aka my second favorite Disney movie) Target Tsum Tsum collection (how cute is the Cheshire Cat!)12 months of happiness happiness project
This month two of my best friends from college came down to Chicago to visit me (it’s so funny because they literally visited back to back!) My first friend was only in town for a day and a half but we still made the most of her visit (I can’t wait to visit her in New York in October!) My other friend was here a little longer and it was so great catching up with her because we hadn’t seen each other since we graduated college over a YEAR ago (I’m so excited because I’m flying to DC in two weeks for her birthday!) It’s always fun when friends from out of town come to visit because I get to play tourist and show them all that Chicago has to offer!4th of July fireworks Chicago
This year I hosted a little fourth of July BBQ party. My two best friends came over and we had a BLAST! It was Loki’s first fourth of July and he absolutely loved every second of it. He LOVES the smell of BBQ and he sat in awe as he watched my neighbors set off round after round of fireworks! happiness project blog posts
This was a great month for snail mail! I got two GORGEOUS Disney Pins from Hong Kong Disneyland (one for my Chip and Dale Disney Pins collection and one of my Alice in Wonderland collection), all seven of the Harry Potter Funko‘s I ordered came this month (I’ve been hearing that a lot of people’s Dumbledore got back ordered so I’m so happy mine came) and my Anthropologie exclusive 2016 Rifle Paper Co. Alice in Wonderland calendar came (I can’t WAIT to use this next year!) I also got four other blogging related packages this month that you’ll be hearing about soon (hint hint, two of them have to do with AWESOME giveaways coming this August to Simply Sinova!)
