You’re probably tired of me raving about fall by now but I can’t help it, it’s one of my favorite times of the year. The gorgeous weather, the cozy sweaters, the yummy lattes, what’s not to love about fall? Even though fall officially stared a few days ago, it’s finally starting to set in for me that fall is actually here. This week I was finally able to wear my jeans (goodbye shorts) and hoodie again! Last year I wrote about some of my favorite Halloween traditions but this year, I’ve decided to share a few of my new fall traditions! From yummy Ragu Pasta Sauce Recipes to Halloween at Disney, there’s so many new reasons to love (and look forward to) fall!
• Halloween-ifying My Desk/Office
While I do like to update my desk with cute decorations to correspond with each particular month, I usually don’t really go all out with decorations unless it’s Christmas. This fall I decided to add a little Halloween theme to my home office in a effort to start a new “decorate my desk for every holiday” tradition. I added a ‘Happy Halloween’ sign, a spooky (but adorable) ghost, a little pumpkin and a ‘Haunted’ banner across my gallery wall!
• Biweekly Ragu Recipes
This year my family made the decision to cut fast food out of our lives (as much as possible) and focus more on home cooked meals. Admittedly, besides my grandmother, my family doesn’t constant of a bunch of chefs (seriously, if a recipe has more than six steps in it, we just give up.) Since we’re all about easy (and yummy) meals, one of our go-to’s is Ragu® Chicken Parmesan. It’s so simple to make! Just boil up some noodles, bake some breaded chicken and botta bing botta boom you’ve got yourself a yummy dinner!
Some people (like my mom) prefer a more noodle than sauce ratio, but if you’re like me (and LOVE Ragu) don’t be afraid to add a pinch more (or in my case, a 1/4 of a jar more!)
• Spending Halloween at Disney
Since we had such an amazing time spending Christmas at Disney World, we’ve decided to start a new tradition: spending all holidays at the Disney parks! This year (in three weeks) we’re headed to Disneyland to celebrate Halloween (and next year we plan on spending Halloween at Disney World!) We love celebrating holidays at Disney so much that we’ve already booked our trips for Christmas and New Years (at Disney World), Valentine’s Day (at Disneyland) and my birthday, which I do consider a holiday (at Disneyland Paris!)
What are some of your favorite fall traditions?
