What I'm Looking Forward to This Fall Simply Sinova
Happy Friday (hooray for the weekend!) Welcome back to another installment of my “What I’m Looking Forward To” series (I had such a BLAST writing my What I’m Looking Forward to in the New Year and What I’m Looking Forward to This Summer posts.) I’ve had such a positive response from you all on this series, so hopefully that means you guys like reading these kinds of posts as much as I like writing them! I can’t believe next week is officially fall (thank goodness because I’m so ready for summer to be over. Unpopular opinion but summer is my LEAST favorite season!) For me, fall means traveling, cozy sweaters, Halloween fun, gorgeous weather, delicious Thanksgiving food, hanging out with friends and everything in between! Here are a few of the things I’m looking forward to this fall: New York Comic Con LEGO cosplay
New York City/New York Comic Con. Next month I’m heading to New York City to attend New York Comic Con. This will be my second time attending NYCC (make sure to check out my New York Comic Con 2014 recap) and I couldn’t be more excited! Along with attending NYCC, I’m also excited about visiting/spending a week with one of my best friends (who lives in NYC) and seeing a few Broadway shows (I’m definitely seeing Aladdin and Finding Neverland but I want to squeeze in as many shows as possible!) (Update: check out my NYCC 2015 recap here!)Disneyland-Diamond-Celebration-Sleeping-Beauty-Castle
Disneyland. Two days after my trip to New York City, I’m heading to California/Disneyland to attend Mickey’s Halloween party! I’m SUPER excited because I LOVE visiting the Disney Parks during holidays. There’s just something so magical about Disney during the holidays and Halloween is no exception.  I can’t wait to ride the Haunted Mansion Holiday, see all the beautiful craved pumpkins, go trick or treating and bask in the glory that is Disneyland at Halloween! IMG_9257
Halloween. Halloween is my third favorite holiday after Christmas and my birthday (yes, I consider my birthday a holiday!) I love dressing up (last year I went as Anna from Frozen), going trick or treating, visiting haunted houses and of course, all the spooky (and cute) decorations that come along with Halloween! Usually I wait until the last week of September to start pulling out my Halloween decor but this year I couldn’t help myself! As soon as September came my house was decked out for Halloween. Disney World Castle
Disney World. Not only am I going to Disneyland this fall, I’ll also be visiting Disney World (hooray for monthly Disney trips!) I’m so excited because although I’ve spent Christmas at Disney World before, I’ve never been late fall/during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival! I can’t WAIT to finally get to experience the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and finally cross it off my Disney bucket list!

Here are a few other things that I’m looking forward to this fall:

  • The return of my favorite TV shows (like Once Upon A Time.)
  • Celebrating my sister’s 27th birthday.
  • My grandma’s AMAZING Thanksgiving cooking!
  • Chicago’s LOVELY fall weather.
  • Attending the Chicago International Film Festival (I’m SO EXCITED!)
  • All the AWESOME movies coming out this fall (like Pan & The Good Dinosaur.)
  • Seeing The Lion King on Broadway again (I have tickets for OPENING NIGHT!)
