It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and since it’s FINALLY December, that means the holiday shopping can officially commence! I LOVE the holidays and this year is going to be even more special since it’s Loki’s first Christmas. I’ll admit it, when it comes to Christmas gifts, I can go a little overboard sometimes. In fact, I just surprised my mother with her Christmas present yesterday: a trip to Disneyland next week! My mom and I are HUGE Disney fans (no seriously, we eat, sleep and breath Disney). Since we became Disney Premiere Passport holders (meaning we have annual passes to both Disneyland and Disney World) we’ve been visiting Disney basically every month and even though we’re spending Christmas and New Years at Disney World again this year, this will be our first time visiting Disneyland during the holidays. Although I LOVE spending Christmas at Disney World and can’t wait to do it again this year, I thought “why not visit Disneyland this holiday season too?”. I was able to find some great last minute deals and boom, we’re going to BOTH Disneyland and Disney World (which we’ve had booked for months) for Christmas! When I told my mom the good news she broke down into tears! She couldn’t believe I’d surprised her with a Disney trip. See, that’s what I LOVE about giving people presents. It’s the raw emotion and utter joy on their faces when they get something they really want (and who wouldn’t want to visit the Disney Parks not only within weeks of each other, but at Christmas time?!) My mom isn’t the only person I decided to go all out for this holiday season. I definitely didn’t forget about my little furbaby Loki!
I decided to head to Walmart last weekend, since its always been one of my go-to places for pet products, to see if I could find any cute Christmas presents for Loki. Of course I hit the JACKPOT and found everything I needed to make Loki’s first Christmas as special (and memorable) as possible!
Loki loves when we pad his bed with fuzzy blankets so when I saw this ADORABLE Dachshund blanket at Walmart, I knew I HAD to get it for him (Loki is a Dachshund/Lab mix after all!) And what’s a bed without an adorable plushie (or two!)? How cute is that little Christmas dog toy?
Loki LOVES toys. The only problem is, he gets bored super easily. I decided to get a bunch of toys for him so he can have different options. Right now he’s REALLY into rope toys (last week it was squeaky toys!)
Of course I got Loki some practical gifts too! I picked him up PEDIGREE® DENTASTIX® Original (which are his absolute favorite) and a PEDIGREE® Jumbone! Since PEDIGREE® DENTASTIX® are good for a dogs oral care and PEDIGREE® Jumbone are good for occupancy, I knew they’d be perfect for Loki (plus, they both make the perfect stocking stuffers for the dog in your life!)
