Three things I love about spring
Spring is officially here and I couldn’t be more EXCITED! Along with it being my birthday season, there’s just so many amazing things that come along with spring. Fresh flowers, gorgeous weather, spring cleaning (which I actually LOVE), chocolate bunnies and rainy nights, spring is just the BEST! And if all of that wasn’t enough, this spring (next month) I’m traveling to PARIS (and London and Amsterdam) for my birthday! I can’t wait to experience all that Paris has to offer and FINALLY get to visit Disneyland Paris (I’m actually planning on becoming a Disneyland Paris annual passholder while I’m there because I’m planning on visiting Paris again within the year!). Although I have a pretty good idea of everything I want to do while I’m in Europe, I’m always open for suggestions. So if you’ve ever been to Paris, London or Amsterdam and have any tips, must see attraction suggestions or dining recommendations, make sure to leave them in the comments down below. Besides my upcoming European vacation, I’m also super pumped to be heading back to my second home, Disney World, in May so I can FINALLY experience the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival in person (it’s crazy to think that I’ve been to Disney World more times than I can count and I’ve never experienced it!). Yup, it doesn’t get much better than springtime! Here are three (more) things I absolutely LOVE about springtime:
Happy Planner
1) Spring Planner Stickers. Some of you may or may not know this but I’m a planner girl! That’s right, I LOVE decorating my planner with tons of craft paper (it’s a great money saver/alternative to buying those pricey planner kits on Etsy), washi tape and of course, STICKERS! Spring stickers always make me so happy! Easter Planner StickersSeriously, how ADORABLE are these little bunny stickers? I may or may not have gone a little bunny overboard on my planner layout for this week (it is the week of Easter after all!). A few people have been asking me if I’m going to share more about my planner (like how I create layouts and things like that) here on the blog, and while I don’t have plans for that yet, I do plan on sharing a few behind the scenes planner decorating (and more of my MASSIVE sticker and washi tape collection) on my snapchat: simplysinova, so make sure to follow along there.Peony Petals Soy Candle
2) Flower Scented Candles. Another thing I love about spring is getting to break out all of my flower scented candles. My go-to candle at the moment is Peony Petals (it smells AMAZING!). Sakroots SEAFOAM FLOWER POWER
3) Fun Prints! One of my absolute favorite things about spring (besides it being my birthday season, of course) is all the fun prints! I love wearing lots of cute floral dresses and rocking lots of accessories that have bold bright colors and fun prints. Since winter is FINALLY over, that means it’s time for me to pack away all my snow boots (oddly enough, we had a GREAT winter here in Chicago, there was barley any snow at all) and break out all my cute spring flats! I am in LOVE with my Sakroots Ella Flat Espadrilles! They’re definitely going to be my go-to flats this spring (I can’t wait to rock them in Paris next month!).Sakroots tote
It wouldn’t be spring without a fun tote bag. This XL Sakroots Tote just screams flower power and I love how the design goes so perfectly with my adorable new flats!

Speaking of design, Sakroots is all about giving back and they’re designs play a huge part in it! Sakroots encourages you to “Choose Your Karma” by supporting artists and charities of your choice from their circle, sharing in the belief of peace and harmony among all things. Best part? Sakroots matches all donations! Different Sakroots prints support different charities. My tote print, “Xen Garden,” supports the San Francisco Botanical Garden and my shoe print “Flower Power,” supports the North American Butterfly Association. There’s nothing better than a great company that supports great causes!
