Happy Monday and welcome to another edition of Monday’s Music! Since I’m heading to Paris/Disneyland Paris THIS FRIDAY (words seriously can’t describe how excited I am), I thought it would be fun to share another Disney Playlist for this weeks Monday’s Music (especially since I have such a BLAST coming up with these playlists!). So far I’ve shared Disney playlists for the Disney Golden Age, Disney Pre-Renaissance and the Disney Renaissance, so up this week is the ever so underrated (and frequently forgotten) Disney Post-Renaissance!

For reference, this list refers to any Disney film made within the Disney Post- Renaissance era (i.e 2000 -2008.) Meaning, this list could include songs from any of the following films: Fantasia 2000, The Tigger Movie, Dinosaur, The Emperor’s New Groove, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Lilo & Stitch, Treasure Planet, Piglet’s Big Movie, Brother Bear, Home on the Range, Pooh’s Heffalump Movie, Valiant, Chicken Little, The Wild, Meet the Robinsons and Bolt. Now time for a few fun facts:
• I’m Still Here (Jim’s Theme). I LOVE Treasure Planet! It’s such an underrated Disney film and I HIGHLY recommend checking it out if you haven’t seen it yet. I absolutely LOVE this song!
• Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride. It’s no secret that Lilo & Stitch is one of my favorite Disney films (my mom’s name is Lilo after all!).
• Barking At The Moon. I’m usually not a big fan of country music but this song always puts a smile on my face. Bolt is another one of those underrated Disney films that I really enjoy!
• On My Way. You can’t go wrong with Disney and Phil Collins, am I right? (Tarzan definitely proves that!) I’m not a huge Brother Bear fan but I do love me some Phil Collins music!
• The Future Has Arrived. I was a HUGE fan of The All-American Rejects back in the day so including this song was a no brainer! Also, I really like Meet the Robinsons!
• The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers. A classic!
• Can’t Help Falling In Love. Raise your hand if you remember the A*Teens?!
• Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. I might not be the biggest Chicken Little fan but I sure do love this song!
• Carnival of the Animals. I just LOVE Fantasia 2000 (and the original Fantasia) so much!
