What I'm Looking Forward To This Fall
Happy Friday and welcome back to another installment of my “What I’m Looking Forward To” series! I absolutely LOVE this series and I can’t believe that this is already the eight installment of it (man does time FLY!). If you haven’t already noticed, I LOVE making bucket listsdocumenting happy moments and writing posts like this and since I’ve had such a positive response from you all on this series, hopefully that means you guys like reading these kinds of posts as much as I like writing them! Fall OFFICIALLY starts next week and I couldn’t be more excited! I absolutely LOVE fall! For me, fall means traveling, cozy sweaters, Halloween fun, gorgeous weather, delicious Thanksgiving food, hanging out with friends and everything in between! Here are a few of the things I’m looking forward to this fall:Disneyland Partners Statue

Disneyland. I’m visiting Disneyland TWICE this fall, once in October and then again in November, and I couldn’t be more excited! It’s been FOREVER since I’ve been to Disneyland (okay, it’s only been seven months but for me that’s a LIFETIME!). I’m super excited to ride Haunted Mansion Holiday again (and Small World Holiday in November), eat at Cafe Orleans and Cove Bar and party with Mickey, Minnie and the whole gang!

Hamilton Chicago

Hamilton. One of the things I’m MOST looking forward to this fall is FINALLY seeing Hamilton! If you’ve been following this blog for a while than you already know about my LOVE for all things Broadway (you can check out my Broadway Bucket List HERE). Broadway is EVERYTHING to me (in fact, in 2015 one of my New Year resolutions was to see a minimum of one show a month and I’m happy to say that I wound up seeing 13 shows last year!). When I heard Hamilton was coming to Chicago I JUMPED for joy (I wasn’t able to get tickets the last two times I was in New York). Although Hamilton officially begins its run in Chicago in two weeks, I have tickets to an October performance!

Disneyland Nightmare Before Christmas Tsum Tsum

Halloween. Halloween is my third favorite holiday after Christmas and my birthday (yes, I consider my birthday a holiday!). I love dressing up, going trick or treating, visiting haunted houses and of course, all the spooky (and cute) decorations that come along with Halloween! Side note: How ADORABLE are those Jack and Sally tsum tsums?

St. Louis Arch

St. Louis. Ever since my impromptu trip to St. Louis last month, I’ve been itching to go back (what can I say, I LOVE St. Louis!). I plan on visiting St. Louis again sometime in November (possibly during Thanksgiving). Since it’s only a four hour drive from Chicago, it’s definitely the perfect location for a little last minute weekend getaway!

The Bahamas

The Bahamas. I’m going on a cruise to the Bahamas this fall (in October) and I’m super excited! Not only will this be my first time visiting the Bahamas but this will also be my first cruise!

Here are a few other things that I’m looking forward to this fall:

  • I’m heading to Washington D.C. next week! .
  • I’m seeing Melanie Martinez while I’m in DC (and I couldn’t be more EXCITED)! I LOVE Melanie Martinez so much and I can’t wait to see her perform AGAIN (I also saw her at Lollapalooza this year!).
  • The return of my favorite TV shows (hooray for new fall premieres!).
  • Celebrating my sister’s 28th birthday.
  • Seeing Disney’s Moana!
  • My grandma’s Thanksgiving dinner (is it November yet?!!).
  • FINALLY getting to wear pullovers, sweaters and hoodies again (goodbye summer weather!).
  • Getting my new iPhone 7 Plus (although I already preordered it, it doesn’t arrive until September 28).
  • Attending the Chicago International Film Festival!
