Happy Monday and welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup! Since it’s Halloween (happy Halloween everyone, what are you dressing up as?), I thought today would be the perfect day to open up a couple of the new Series 2 Funko Nightmare Before Christmas Mystery Minis. Speaking of Halloween, I’m currently spending my Halloween in the Bahamas (Nassau, Bahamas to be exact) and I couldn’t be more excited (you can follow along with my Carnival cruise/Bahamas adventures on Instagram)! If you checked out my Fall/Halloween Tag, then you already know that (along with Halloweentown and Hocus Pocus) the Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my all-time favorite Halloween movies. I’m not going to lie, I used to consider it more of a Christmas film until director Henry Slick (no, Tim Burton did NOT direct this film) confirmed it was indeed a Halloween flick. Although these Nightmare Before Christmas Mystery Minis don’t exactly follow the new kawaii Funko Mystery Minis mold, I decided to pick up a couple of them anyway during my last Target trip (plus they are way cuter than the series 1 Nightmare Before Christmas Mystery Minis)!
While I really liked all the characters included in this Nightmare Before Christmas Mystery Minis series, I definitely had my fingers crossed for Jack, Sally, Santa Claus, the Pumpkin King and Lock, Shock, or Barrel!
I got Shook, Barrel and the Harlequin Demon. I kind of wish that I got Lock too so I could have all three trick-or-treaters but I’m really pleased with the figures I got!
