*Special thanks to Kriser’s Natural Pet for sponsoring today’s post! As always, all opinions are my own*
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and since it’s FINALLY December, that means the holiday shopping can officially commence! Can I tell you guys a secret? I’m actually done with ALL my holidays shopping (hooray for planning ahead!). Thanks to Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday (and a little extra shopping prior to that), I was able to get everything I wanted for my friends and family this holiday season. In fact, the only other person (well, I guess he’s not a “person” but you know what I mean) I still needed to go holiday shopping for was my little furbaby, Loki! Since Loki can’t write a letter to Santa, and I wanted to make sure he’d actually really love his gifts, I decided to surprise him with a trip to Kriser’s Natural Pet so he could pick out a few holiday treats for himself!
Loki is OBSESSED with Christmas tress at the moment (I often find him napping behinds our tree at home) so it didn’t surprise me that he was mesmerized by the adorable tree painted on the window at Kriser’s.
I always love taking Loki to Kriser’s and watching him walk up and down each aisle as he examines everything. No really, he literally stops at each item in the aisles and studies them before moving on to the next product (I think he gets all that curiosity from me!).
No you’re not seeing things, those are indeed ugly Christmas sweater dog cookies (seriously, does it get any cuter than that?). Speaking of ugly Christmas sweaters, I’m super excited to be participating in the The Ugly Sweater Run 5k this Saturday here in Chicago (it’s my second 5k!). I really want to start doing more 5k runs and my ultimate goal is to do a Disney run in 2017!
As soon as we walked into Kriser’s I KNEW Loki would love the giant bone-shaped squeeky toy and sure enough, as soon as he saw it he jumped up and grabbed it!
I bet you can’t guess what I got Loki for Christmas!
Along with the “Ho-Ho” squeaky toy, I also got Loki a candy cane shaped rope toy (because as you all know, Loki is OBSESSED with rope toys) and some of the ugly Christmas sweater cookies (they were just to cute to resist!). How adorable is the little reindeer on them?
As soon as we got home from Kriser’s, I put Loki’s presents under our Christmas Tree with the rest of the familys gifts (because he’s as much apart of the family as everyone else!). I can’t wait to see his face on Christmas when he sees his new holiday toys and treats (I know he’ll love them since he helped pick them out himself!).
