Fun fact: I am OBSESSED with Japanese culture and all things kawaii! Seriously, whenever I visit Epcot at Walt Disney World, I always rush over to the Japan Pavilion in the World Showcase so I can visit my favorite gift shop of all-time, the Mitsukoshi Department Store! Speaking of Japan and the Disney Parks, I’m super EXCITED because I’ve decided to spend next Christmas at Tokyo Disneyland (I know this Christmas hasn’t even passed yet but I like to think/plan ahead!). Since I’m breaking my normal tradition of spending Christmas (and New Years) at Disney World and am spending it at Disneyland Paris this year (I leave in EIGHT days), I’ve decided that I want to start spending every Christmas at an international Disney park from now on. I literally JUST decided on this last weekend so I still have a lot of planning/research to do but I’m still super excited! It’s so funny because the SAME day I told my mom about my plans for next Christmas, my YumeTwins Monthly Kawaii Box arrived (I don’t know about you but I don’t think that was a mere coincidence, I think it was a SIGN!).
I was over the moon when YumeTwins contacted me and asked if I wanted to review one of their boxes. YumeTwins is a monthly subscription box service from TokyoTreat that delivers high-quality, kawaii Japanese items straight from Tokyo to your doorstep! Unlike your ordinary kawaii box, YumeTwins revolves around the Yume Kawaii culture which is a combination of cuteness, fairytales with a touch of darkness! Yume Kawaii culture is currently extremely popular and trending in Japan (it isn’t hard to see why!).
Inside a YumeTwins box, you will find 8-10 items ranging from plushies and squishies, collectible keychains and figures, stationery and accessories. As soon as I opened my YumeTwins box, the first thing I noticed was a big fluffy baby alpaca plushie (I named him Archie!).
Once I removed Archie from the box, I was able to get a good glimpse at my box of kawaii goodies!
November’s YumeTwins box came with a Kawaii Mini-notepad, a Enogumasan 2-Way Marker, Re-ment’s Sailor Moon Sweets Mascot blind box, Rilakkuma Tea Party Darjeeling Tea Bags, Sanrio Gudetama Stickers, Sanrio Kirimichan Post-its, a Sumikko Gurashi Sushi Rubber Keychain Charm and a Shinada Baby Nature Plushie!
How stinkin’ cute is that Kawaii Mini-notepad? I can’t wait to use it to jot down notes and ideas!
Cuteness overload! If you’re a fellow lover of all things kawaii, I HIGHLY recommend YumeTwins!
