When life gives you lemons…
Although I live in Chicago, Florida (Orlando specially) is definitely my second home. As many you know, I’m a HUGE Disney lover. I grew up visiting Disney World each summer and in 2015 I decided to became an annual passholder to both Disney World and Disneyland (yup, I love Disney that much!). I spend a lot of time in Florida (I visit Disney World at least seven times a year) so I was truly devastated when Hurricane Irma (and Hurricane Harvey) hit.
My heart goes out to all of the people and families that have been affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. In situations like this, we as humans have to do everything in our power to help each other out. Remember, nothing is “too small.”
During these troubling times, every little bit helps! Did you know that YOU can spread some California love to families in need affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma? Snap a pic of the Real California Milk Seal, share it using #SealsForGood, and Real California Milk will donate $5 to the Great American Milk Drive (up to $20k) to help families in Texas and Florida. No purchase necessary. You can post now ‘til 12/31!
Helping others and cookies? Who knew the two would have so much in common! After picking up some butter made with Real California Milk, I decided to whip up one of my favorite treats: cookies!
Is it just me or does anyone else think that sugar cookies are best when topped with butter creme icing and sprinkles?!
