Happy Friday and welcome back to another installment of my “What I’m Looking Forward To” series! Guys, it’s officially fall! I’m SO excited because, as most of you know, I’m not a huge fan of summer (it’s definitely be least favorite season #sorrynotsorry) and I’m glad that it’s finally over. It’s crazy because weather wise, this summer wasn’t to bad but for some odd reason mother nature chose this week (the first week of fall) to have a temper tantrum.
It’s literally been 90+ degrees for the past three days in Chicago and I don’t think I can take it anymore. Fingers crossed we see that amazing breezy fall weather soon! Regardless of the weather, I’m just so happy that fall is finally here. For me, fall means traveling, cozy sweaters, Halloween fun, fuzzy socks, gorgeous weather, delicious Thanksgiving food, hanging out with friends and everything in between!
Here are a few of the things I’m looking forward to this fall:
Disney World. I’m heading to Disney World (aka my happy place) in two weeks to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and I couldn’t be happier. I’m so excited because although I’ve attended Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland before, this will be my first time experiencing Halloween at Disney World.
Halloween. Halloween is my third favorite holiday after Christmas and my birthday (yes, I consider my birthday a holiday!). I love dressing up, going trick or treating, visiting haunted houses and of course, all the spooky (and cute) decorations that come along with Halloween! Side note: How ADORABLE are those Jack and Sally tsum tsums?
Pumpkin Flavored Snacks. I’ll admit it, I use to be the BIGGEST “pumpkin flavor” hater (I’ve even talked about it on the blog before) but recently I’ve really been digging pumpkin flavored treats. I’m still not a huge fan of pumpkin spice lattes, but I LOVE pumpkin cupcakes (especially the ones from the Disney Parks!).
Here are a few other things that I’m looking forward to this fall:
- Seeing Coco!
- The return of my favorite TV shows (hooray for new fall premieres!).
- Celebrating my sister’s golden (29th) birthday.
- Seeing Motown: The Musical next month.
- My grandma’s Thanksgiving dinner (is it November yet?!!).
- FINALLY getting to wear pullovers, sweaters and hoodies again (goodbye summer weather, hopefully!).
