Happy Monday and welcome to the latest installment of my 12 Months of Happiness series.I can’t believe that it’s almost November already and that there’s only two months left until 2018!? 2017 has been an INCREDIBLE year so far and I can’t wait to see what amazing things November and December have to offer (I also can’t wait to ring in the New Year at the Disney Parks for the fourth year in a row!).
Here are some of the things that made October an amazing month: (Don’t forget to comment down below how your October went and what things made you smile this month! I LOVE hearing from you guys about what makes you happy!)
I LOVE fall and Halloween decor (lets face it, I love all seasonal decor!). I can’t get enough of all the orange, red, green and plaid. And don’t even get me started on all the cute Halloween decorations. I know a lot of people prefer the “creepy/scary” side of Halloween but I’m all about the cutesy stuff (like that adorable pumpkin Pusheen plush keychain!).
Although I love visiting Disney any time of the year, I especially love Disney during holidays! So far I’ve experienced Halloween, Christmas, my birthday (yes, I consider that a holiday), Easter and Valentine’s Day at the Disney parks (a combination of Disneyland, Disney World and Disneyland Paris!). I loved seeing all of the gorgeous Halloween decor while I was at Disney World two weeks ago.
Fun Fact: Epcot is my FAVORITE Disney park! One of my favorite things about Epcot, besides the World Showcase of course, is all of the fun festivals it hosts throughout the year. If I had to rank the Epcot festivals from favorite to least favorite (although I love truly them all), I’d definitely say I most enjoy the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival then the Epcot International Festival of the Arts and lastly the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
Although I’ve attended Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland before, this was my first time experiencing Halloween at Disney World and all I can say is that Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party definitely did not disappoint. While trick or treating, the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks were amazing, it was the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular that really made the event! It was so amazing (and hilarious!).
Here’s a few other things that made me happy in October:
- Stranger Things season two (raise your hand if you also binge-watched it in one night!).
- I put up my Christmas Tree (I know that’s crazy but I’m crazy about Christmas!).
- Halloween (even though Halloween is tomorrow and technically hasn’t happened yet, Halloween in general just makes me so happy).
- Pumpkin cupcakes (enough said!).
- The gorgeous (albeit slightly cold) weather we’ve been experiencing here in Chicago.
- I bought my tickets to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi in December.
