It’s no secret that I love to travel. In fact, I’m currently visiting New York City (after spending a weekend in DC). Then in three weeks I’m heading to Orlando to spend the holidays at Disney World and then I’m off on my first Disney Cruise January 2 (talk about a great way to kick off 2018!). The point is, I love traveling. Nothing makes me happier than getting out and exploring new places.
Speaking of exploring new places, although I’ve lived in Chicago my whole life (not counting the four years I lived on the East Coast for college) there are so any places in the Midwest I’ve yet to explore. Since Chicago is within driving distance to so many cool cities, I decided to spend the week of Thanksgiving taking a road trip throughout the Midwest.
Of course no road trip is complete without the perfect vehicle!
I was so excited when Subaru reached out to me and asked if I wanted to test drive the new 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. When driving from state to state to state, your number one priority should be having a reliable car and since Subaru and “reliable car” are synonymous, I knew I was in good hands!
Not only does the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek have a gorgeous exterior but the inside of the car is amazing as well!
So roomy! I don’t know about you but I’d prefer not to be all cramped up during a multi-state road trip.
One of my favorite things about the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek was its awesome built in GPS/ navigational system! I mean, you can’t have a road trip without a map am I right?
The Subaru Crosstrek’s GPS was able to easily guide me through Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan and Missouri!
The 2018 Subaru Crosstrek had so many awesome features that made my road trip run as smooth as possible! For one, the dashboard not only displayed the speed you were driving at the moment but it also showed the exact speed limit of wherever you were located. That definitely came in handy!
I also loved the fact that a yellow light would appear in the rear view mirror when a car was in your blindspot! How genius is that?
From my first stop to Milwaukee, WI (how gorgeous is the Milwaukee Art Museum) to my final destination of St. Louis, MO, the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek allowed me to smoothly and safely roam the Midwest! 
I couldn’t think of a better car to have driven throughout the Midwest than the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek! From its sleek design to its overall comfort, it gets a 10 out of 10 in my book!
