You know that old saying “To be a good writer, you have to be a good reader.”? Well one of my goals for the New Year is to read more. And what better way to complete my goal then by making myself a list of books to read. The only problem is, I have NO idea where to start.

Should I start with the classics? Should I read something that just came out? Should I reread one of my favorites or should I read something new? So many questions.

I’ve been having some major writers block (hence why I’ve only been posting once a week instead of my usual three times a week) and I think reading more will inspire me to what to write more. (Both with this blog and with my screenplay, which I hope to finish soon).

I would love to hear some of your recommendations. I don’t have any preferences when it comes to genres or the time frame of when the book came out. I’d love for you to leave a comment about your favorite book, or a good book you’ve read lately. That way I can start complying my list of books to read this year.
