Happy Friday and welcome to the latest installment of my 12 Months of Happiness series! Although it’s now officially my least favorite season (sorry not sorry but summer just isn’t my thing), I can’t deny that this summer is off to a GREAT start! I started off this summer with a trip to Canada and I’ll be ending it with a trip to Disney World AND a Disney Cruise. So if June was any indication of things to come than it’s safe to say that this is going to be a great summer!

Here are some of the things that made June an amazing month: (Don’t forget to comment down below how your June went and what things made you smile this month! I LOVE hearing from you guys about what makes you happy):

Toronto…Made Me HAPPY. I spent the first day (and week) of summer in Toronto, Canada. This was my first time visiting Canada and it did NOT disappoint. I’m seriously in love with Canada and am in the process of planning my next trip there. Don’t worry, I have SO many fun Canada posts that I can’t wait to share with you all, so stay tuned for that!

Niagara Falls…Made Me HAPPY. You can’t visit Canada without stopping by Niagara Falls, am I right? While I was in Toronto I decided to take a special day trip to Niagara Falls. I plan on doing an entire “What To Do in Niagara Falls” post so be on the lookout for that soon.

The Starbucks Mango Dragonfruit Refresher…Made Me HAPPY. I have a confession: I’m not a HUGE Starbucks person. Now don’t get me wrong, I do love me some Starbucks but it’s more of a once in a while thing for me. But let me tell you, I am OBSESSED with the new Mango Dragonfruit Refresher! I had it at least five times while I was in Canada.

The Cher Show…Made Me Happy. You guys, I’m convinced that I’m a wizard. Okay, I might not be a wizard but I am SUPER lucky. The other day I won lottery tickets to see The Cher Show (which is currently in Chicago for its pre-Broadway premiere). This is the fourth Broadway show I’ve “won” tickets for. (I’ve won the Hamilton lottery twice and scored free tickets to see Aladdin prior to this!).

I was even more thrilled because I really wanted to see a show during pride month (June), because during this time, all show playbills are rainbow colored. (How awesome is that?!).

Here’s a few other things that made me happy in June:

• Incredibles 2 (How cute was Jack Jack and Edna Mode’s little friendship?).
• The finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 (SO happy Aquaria won!).
• Tickets for Star Wars Celebration (a Star Wars convention coming to Chicago) went on sale.
• I bought tickets to see The Color Purple on Broadway (in July).
