In honor of today’s release of Incredibles 2 (I’m seeing it later tonight), I thought it would be fun to do a Disney themed post today. (I know, I know The Incredibles is Pixar not Disney but you know what I mean). It’s no secret that I LOVE all things Disney and Disney Cruise’s are no exception!
My Disney Cruise back in January was an absolute blast and I can’t wait until my next Disney Cruise this August! I know what you’re thinking, “Two Disney Cruises in one year?!”. I was telling my mom the other day how when we discover something “new” within Disney, we tend to go a bit overboard. Case in point, we visited Disneyland Paris twice in one year and now we’re taking two Disney Cruises within the same year.
What can I say, Disney is my happy place!
One of my favorite things about cruising on the Disney Dream was my daily visits to Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats. Located on Deck 11, this Wreck-It Ralph themed sweet shop is a MUST visit! With 20 flavors of gelato and 16 flavors of ice cream, there’s something for everyone at Vanellope’s.
A lot of people, especially those who aren’t experienced cruisers, often get confused about what is or isn’t included in the cost of your cruise. Essentially, food, non-alcoholic drinks and treats located in the cabanas, dinning rooms and on the room service menu are FREE. (Although some items on the room service menu do have an additional cost).
Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats comes at an additional cost above and beyond what you paid for your cruise. Meaning, anything you order at this shop DOES cost money. (But don’t fret, there’s plenty of FREE ice cream machines located all around the ship!).
Looking to satisfy your sweet tooth while on the Disney Dream? Look no further than Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats! From ice cream to gum balls to cotton candy, you name it, they’ve got it. (And in lots of different varieties!).
Speaking of cotton candy, how adorable is that Wreck-It Ralph themed packaging?! So adorable.
Two of the most popular things to order at Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats are the Ralph’s Family Challenge and Vanellope’s Go Kart Sundae.
Ralph’s Family Challenge includes EIGHT scoops of ice cream (you can choose which flavors), eight toppings, whipped cream and a cherry on top. It’s served in a souvenir trophy cup and costs $19.95.
Vanellope’s Go Kart Sundae includes three scoops of ice cream, five toppings, whipped cream and a cherry on top. It’s served in a super cute souvenir go-kart and costs $12.95.
If you’re not up for Vanellope’s Go Kart Sundae, you can always pay a visit to Vanellope’s Go Kart which is located in the back of the shop.

King Candy turning out to be Turbo was one of the BEST/most shocking twists in modern Disney history! I didn’t see it coming at all. Good job Disney.
