Happy Friday! Sorry for the late post. It’s almost 8pm and I’m just now posting, yikes. You guys know how much I LOVE this series but there have been a few changes in my life recently which means there are going to be a few changes on the blog. For one, I recently got a new job so instead of three posts a week, there might only be one or two posts here on the blog each week.
But don’t fret, this blog is still very much my baby and I’m going to try my hardest to balance everything out. Maintaining this blog while also being a freelance writer AND now having a “9-5” job is going to be a challenge but I’m definitely up to the task.
Because writing, is and will forever be, my first love/priority!
Here are some of the things that made August an amazing month! (Don’t forget to comment down below how your August went and what things made you smile this month! I LOVE hearing from you guys about what makes you happy).
Disney World…Made Me HAPPY. As I posted not to long ago on the blog, this last Disney World trip was bittersweet because it was my last Disney trip for a while. The reason I’m taking an extended Disney break (and not renewing my annual pass when it expires in October) is because I’m saving for a trip to Tokyo Disneyland!
(Actually, I really want to spend a month in Asia and hit Tokyo Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland and Honk Kong Disneyland all within one trip!).
The Disney Dream…Made Me HAPPY. Earlier this month I went on my second Disney Cruise and it was AMAZING. I have so many photos and stories to share from this cruise.
Taking a Chicago Architecture Cruise…Made Me HAPPY. I love my beautiful city Chicago so much and I loved getting to learn so much history about the incredible buildings that help make the city what it is.
(Don’t worry, I’ll be sharing lots of pictures from this cruise soon!).
Here’s a few other things that made me happy in August :
- I saw three awesome movies this month: Crazy Rich Asians, Christopher Robin and Ant-Man and the Wasp (I saw the last two while on my Disney Cruise!).
- I got tickets to the Pre-Broadway World Premiere of Tootsie on Broadway when it comes to Chicago next month!
- Fall decor started hitting the stores (I’m SO ready for summer to be over!).
