Happy December! (Can you believe there’s only 24 days until CHRISTMAS). I know what you’re thinking, “It’s Saturday, why are you posting?”. I know I don’t normally post on the weekends but I thought the events of today warranted a post! Today’s the day all of us Bath & Body Works candle lovers wait for: the $8.95 3-Wick Candle Day Sale!  

Let me tell you, I’ve experienced Candle Day before but NEVER like this. The lines were out the door, babies were screaming and someone legit wanted to fight me over a candle BUT I scored 19 candles for $130 so it all worked out in the end!

Here’s how the Candle Day Sale went down:

I got to Bath & Body Works around 9:50am and didn’t check out until around 11:40am. That’s right, I spent almost two hours in line! (What can I say, this sale was just TOO good to pass up!

When I first got to the store the lines were nearly out the door (by the time I left they WERE out the door). At first I didn’t fell like waiting so I was like “screw this, I’ll just shop online!”. But the candles completely SOLD OUT online around 10am!

So I decided to be patience, and just wait it out! 

In the end I got 19 candles (the limit is 15 per person but Lilo was with me) in seven different scents!

I got five Vanilla Bean Noel (my favorite) candles! They came in three different designs.

I picked up three frosted cranberry candles. (People were going crazy over these!).

I got two Winter Candy Apple candled (these also came in multiple designs!).

I got three Hot Cocoa & Cream candles (another one of my winter favs!).

I also picked up four Champagne Toast candles, a (random) Pineapple Mango candle and a Cinnamon Caramel Swirl candle!

Funny story: The Champagne Toast candles were some of the first to sell out in stores. I was bummed because they’re one of my favorites but only one was left when I first got to the store. Then as I got in line and people started putting candles back, I found two more Champagne Toast candles. The fourth one was just sitting on a shelf behind a bunch of other candles so I grabbed it. 

All of a sudden this 40 year old (I’m assuming that was her age but I don’t know) women walked up to me and was like “I want that candle. Want to fight for it?”. I literally grabbed the candle first so I just looked at her with a dumb look on my face. (Really, over a candle?!). But she was like “never mind” and just walked away. Man, this was more savage than Black Friday! 

In the end it was all worth it! The almost two hours waiting in line. The crazy lady wanting to fight me. (I seriously hope she was trying to be funny and didn’t actually plan on fighting me over a freaking candle?!!). I got 19 candles and a body lotion for only $130 (I had three coupons so that helped a lot too!). 

The crazy thing is, one a regular day the 19 candles would have cost $465.50 and I only paid $130! I LOVE CANDLE SALE DAY!
