Hello ladies and gents. Happy Monday! My goal is to try (key word: try) to update the blog at least once a week! Since my last post was exactly a week ago, go figure, I thought today I’d update you guys on some of the things that have been going on in my life lately.

Because why not?

And before you ask, yes, that is Toy Story themed ice cream! (What will Disney/Pixar think of next?). I finally found them at my local grocery store here in Chicago. The flavors are Cinnamon Churro Carnival Combo and Chocolate Peanut Butter Midway Mash-Up!

First things first, I want to explain the radio silence on the blog lately. It’s been pretty busy at work these past few weeks. At one point I was (voluntarily) working 12 hour shifts (but I was getting that sweet, sweet overtime so that’s a plus!). But things are FINALLY starting to slow down. Which means, you can expect more blog posts! (Hooray).

Speaking of work, my job recently started this “employee of the month” sort of thing were people at my company are recognized for their hard work. As a reward you are gifted with a free event (i.e. concert, theater, sporting event tickets). And this month I was chosen. As you all know I’m a HUGE Broadway lover. However, since I love Broadway, I don’t mind paying for tickets/supporting the theater.  But I’m not a big concert person. Since I would never spend money on a concert, I opted for free concerts tickets. I chose to see Ariana Grande when she comes to Chicago in June.

It’s crazy to think that the last time I saw Ariana Grande live was back in 2014 when I had the incredible opportunity to cover the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party in Miami. That was my first big press trip. I’m so forever grateful for that opportunity and for all the amazing opportunities that this blog has provided me with! 

Another exciting thing that happened recently was I booked TWO Disney Cruises (as an early birthday present to myself. My birthday is this Wednesday/April 17!). I’m heading on a 4 day cruise this summer (August 2019) and an 8 day cruise next summer (August 2020). I’m so excited. I LOVE Disney Cruse Line!

I guess that’s it for now. Since I’m heading to Disney World (tomorrow) this week for my birthday, I probably won’t be posting again until April 22 at the earliest. BUT I do have a ton of fun Disney/Universal posts lined up! So stay tuned for that.
