It’s officially the last day of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! Womp womp. So I thought today would be the perfect time to finally share a little recap about my trip to this years festival. I’ll be breaking up this post into three main categories: food, topiaries and random photos.
As you all know, or might not know, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is my FAVORITE Epcot festival. Well, at least it used to be. I’m not going to lie, this year left me feeling a little underwhelmed. Dare I say that the Epcot International Festival of the Arts has officially taken the spot of my favorite Epcot festival?!
Plot twist.
If you would have asked my back in April to rank the Epcot festivals in order from favorite to least favorite, I would have said: Flower & Garden, Festival of the Arts and Food & Wine. But now my ranking goes a little something like this: Festival of the Arts, Flower & Garden and then Food & Wine.
Don’t worry though, I still ADORE the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival festival with all my heart! Just seeing those breathtaking topiaries alone is enough to make me smile from ear to ear. The amount of details that goes into each display is truly nothing short of Disney magic.
Speaking of topiaries, here are a few of my favorites from the 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival:
I was so excited for the 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival because for the first time ever, they added topiaries of two of my FAVORITE characters: Miss Piggy and Kermit!
Miss Piggy is a whole mood!

It wouldn’t be the Flower & Garden Festival without a Violet Lemonade (or three)! Here are a few of the yummy foods I sampled while at the Flower & Garden Festival:

Now this super yummy dessert wasn’t technically apart of the Flower and Garden festival but I wanted to include it anyway. This adorable (and delicious) lemon cheesecake is available for a limited time at Epcot. You can find it at the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway. At the time of me writing this post I’m not sure if it’s even available anymore but man I hope this dessert sticks around for a while. It was EVERYTHING (and I hate cheesecake!).
We’ve talked about the topiaries and the food. Now we’re venturing into that “random” category I talked about earlier.
I love Disney passholder magnets! (Who doesn’t love FREE cute Disney themed stuff?!).
Raise your hand if you just started singing “In the Big Blue World” in your head!
I celebrated my 27th birthday (April 17th) at the Flower and Garden Festival this year and the day was nothing short of perfection! How gorgeous are those custom ears from the Etsy shop ApplemintHouse?
Speaking of Mickey ears, Disney’s really been stepping their ear game up lately. I honestly think Disney saw how many people were selling “cute” ears on Etsy and making a profit from it and was like “no, no, no, WE want that money!” Good for them honestly… it is their characters/intellectual property.
I love visiting the Bijutsu-kan Gallery in the very back of the Japan pavilion in Epcot. This gallery is home to the “Kawaii” exhibit. (Which is exactly what it sounds like!).
See you again in August Epcot!
