Happy Thursday and Happy August! Three posts in four days?! Pretty impressive if I do say so myself. (And I do say so!). Can I start out by saying that I JUST updated to the newest version of WordPress and gosh do I HATE it. What even is this new editing format?! This post is the first post I’ve written under the new WordPress update and it’s so confusing. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Any who.. onto this month’s 12 Months of Happiness post!

Sharing more about my planner..Made Me HAPPY. This month I launched TWO new Planner related series! My Planner Girl Posts, where I post my planner accessory hauls and everything about planning. And my Weekly Planner Spreads By Month series, where I share how I decorated each of my weekly planner spreads that month!

Scoring reservations to the preview of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World…Made Me HAPPY. As some of you may know, I’m heading to Florida in TWO WEEKS for my third Disney Cruise and a mini WDW vacay post cruise. I’m missing the opening date of Galaxy’s Edge by ONE WEEK. But y’all, I was lucky enough to score a reservation to the Annual Passholder preview of Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios the week I’ll be in Florida for my cruse. LUCKY ME! 

Seeing Cats…Made Me HAPPY. The highlight of this month was definitely seeing Cats. Not only did I see Cats but I won OPENING NIGHT tickets. The show was amazing. Shoutout to Broadway in Chicago for always hosting awesome contests on social media & allowing Broadway fans the chance to win tickets to shows. I won two tickets so I brought my mom of course. Fun fact: back in the 80s when my mom lived in London, she got to see the original West End cast of Cats!

Here’s a few other things that made me happy in July:

• Going to the Taste of Chicago! This year marked my 24th annual visit to the Taste. (I’ve been going every year since I was three).
• I scored FREE Lollapalooza tickets for this Friday + Saturday. 
• The weather here in Chicago. One of the reasons I hate summer so much is because I hate the heat, but this month the weather has been perfect! Not to hot at all.
• I got a ton of amazing blogging opportunities this month!
