What I’m Looking Forward To This Fall (2019)

September 23, 2019

Disney World During Halloween-timeHappy Monday and welcome back to another installment of my “What I’m Looking Forward To” series! Guys, today’s the day! It is finally officially fall! I’m SO excited because, as most of you know, I’m not a huge fan of summer (it’s definitely my least favorite season #sorrynotsorry) and I’m glad that it’s finally over.

Goodbye summer, hello fall!

The weather these past few days here in Chicago have been perfection! It’s been in the 70s each day and I’ve been loving it! Goodbye shorts and tanks, hello long sleeves and jeans! For me, fall means traveling, cozy sweaters, Halloween fun, fuzzy socks, gorgeous weather, delicious Thanksgiving food, hanging out with friends and everything in between!

Here are a few of the things I’m looking forward to this fall (September 23 – December 21):

New York City

Visiting New York City. This weekend I’m heading to NYC and I couldn’t be more excited! I get to hang out with my best friends and explore New York. I have a sort of love/hate relationship with New York City but nonetheless, I’m super pumped for this trip. Sadly, since this is such a short trip, I don’t plan on seeing any Broadway shows BUT I will be entering EVERY Broadway lottery so you never know!

Home office Design

Starting a New Job. A week from today (next Monday), I start a new job/position within the company I currently work at. I’m super excited for this change/new venture!

Disney Halloween Candy Apples

Halloween. As you all know, I LOVE holidays and Halloween is no different. I don’t have definite Halloween plans as of now but that can always change. Wink, wink!

Waitress Broadway in Chicago

Seeing Broadway Shows. There are several amazing Broadway shows coming to Chicago this fall including: Oslo, The Simon & Garfunkel Story and The Phantom of the Opera. And of course I plan on seeing them all!

Disney World During Halloween-time

Disney World. Originally I was going to be spending Thanksgiving at Disney World but due to me starting that new job at my company, I had to postpone the trip a bit. Now I’m mostly likely visiting WDW again in early December (but that’s still technically fall!).

Here are a few other things that I’m looking forward to this fall:

  • Celebrating my sister’s birthday.
  • Thanksgiving.
  • Impromptu travel plans! (Most of my trips are last minute).
  • Decorating for Christmas. (I’m that person who decorates for Christmas before Halloween is even over!).
