Happy Thursday everyone. This post was supposed to go live yesterday (Wednesday), but for some reason it never auto-published. (Or maybe I forgot to set it up to auto-publish….whoops). Anyway, better late than never, am I right?
I’m currently on my way to Disney World so you probably won’t be hearing (or reading hehe) from me again until I get back on Wednesday. (But you can always follow along on Instagram to see some of my Disney adventures!). However, I really wanted to get this post up as soon as possible because I love sharing all things planner related. And I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback about this series. (And a few people have even DM’ed me their planner layouts/shown me how they decorate their planners!).
If you read my “12 Months of Happiness” post from January then you already know that my January was filled with Broadway! (And I couldn’t be happier about that!).
Here’s my weekly planner spreads for January:
Week One (January 6-12)
The first week of January was pretty good. My grandma’s birthday was on the 8th so I decorated my planner with a cake sticker (as seen on the side under notes), a present sticker and a birthday tag sticker. It was also a payday week so that’s always nice. Under Saturday the 11th you can see some porg stickers and a Kylo Ren sticker. I decided to watch Star Wars that day (Rouge One to be specific).
Week Two (January 13-19)
The second week of January kicked off my Broadway filled month! On Friday (the 17th) I saw my first Broadway show of the year/decade: Mean Girls. Then I saw Mary Poppins on Saturday (the 18th) and Beauty and the Beast on Sunday (the 19th).
How cute are the little Playbill stickers that match each of the shows I saw?!
Week Three (January 20-26)
I traveled to New York City during the third week of January and got to see four more Broadway shows. In NYC I saw The Lion King, Beetlejuice, Hadestown and Moulin Rouge. (Hints the Broadway themed washi tape and all the Broadway stickers).
While in NYC I was got to attend BroadwayCon, so that was super cool as well!
It was also a payday week so I got to use my cute little “payday” sticker.
Week Four (January 27 – February 2)
I finished January by seeing my 8th Broadway show of the month: Once on This Island. I saw Once on This Island in NYC a few years ago with the Original Broadway Cast. So it was fun to see it again here in Chicago and compare and contrast the two!
Overall, January was a great (and long) month and I couldn’t have asked for a way start to 2020!
