Welp, Christmas/the holidays are officially over. Cue the sad music and me crying. Sigh. This is truly my FAVORITE time of year and it always saddens me when it has to come to an end. Part of the reason why I start decorating for Christmas November 1st is because I just love Christmas decor so much. I can’t describe it but it just makes me so happy. If there was a way I could keep up my Christmas tree year round I would.
But all good things must come to an end.
Since I have the week off work, I’ve decided to spend the next few days cleaning and packing up all my Christmas decor. Normally I leave it up until after New Years but the timing just worked out where I have a week off. Plus I return back to work January 3rd and then I’m leaving for a week long Disney World trip so this is really the only time I can take down the Christmas decor.
I have so much to do over the next few days. I have to take down the Christmas trees in my bedroom and living room. Take all the Christmas decor out of my bedroom, dinning room and living room. Completely redo my home office (since it’s currently ‘Grinchmas’ themed).
Another thing I will miss about the holidays is getting cute Christmas manicures! (I’ll still be getting manicures, but just not with Christmas colors).
Also unrelated but I’m watching Yellowjackets (it’s a show on Showtime) as I clean/pack up my Christmas decor and if you haven’t seen it I HIGHLY recommend.
