The last time I posted this series was back in March 2020 when you know, the world turned upside down. Happy Monday. Long time no see (again). I think it goes without saying that this past month has been hectic for pretty much everyone honestly. It’s crazy to think that last month I was living it up at Disney World without a care in the world. And now here am I on week three of social distancing/staying home.

Like most places my state, Illinois, has a “stay a home” order in place. (Which I’m thankful for). And although this order only took effect last week, my job was a little ahead of the curve when it came to working remotely. I officially starting working from home Thursday March 12. So this week will mark three weeks of remote working.

With everything going on, it’s so important now more than ever to focus on all those little happy moments!

Here we are again, at the end of another month. It’s weird because I felt like January lasted three months but for some reason February FLEW by. Seriously, I can’t believe it’s almost March. (And then it’s April aka the best month ever aka my birthday month!). I’m so excited because spring is almost upon us you guys. Although, I can’t lie, Chicago has had an amazing winter so far. We’d only had like three days were it snowed and the snow never got more than an inch or two.

I have a friend whose birthday is tomorrow and I just can’t imagine having a Leap Year birthday. Question, if you were born on February 29th, do you normally celebrate on February 28th or March 1st? Inquiring minds what to know.

Happy Friday! Geez, it seems like January went on forever, am I right?  It feels like it should be March already but it’s STILL January. But, I will say this, even though this month has seemed super long, it’s been a GREAT one nonetheless.

Before I get into what made me happy this month, you guys… I started this series back in January 2015. (Check out the first 12 Months of Happiness post HERE). That means this series is officially FIVE years old. Crazy right?! I was just looking back at that post from January 2015 and its surreal cause what made me happy that month was traveling to NYC (seeing Broadway shows and getting to experience SNL). And that’s also what made me happy this month!

I feel like December FLEW by. Heck, 2019 flew by. I seriously can’t believe it’s already 2020 and a new decade. At the beginning of the decade (2010) I was graduating high school. (I can’t believe it’s been nearly TEN years since I graduated high school). And now here I am 27 and living the dream. My dream.

I am exactly where I hoped I’d be and exactly where I want to be in life. A good job. (That allows me the freedom to travel often). Great friends and family. Good health. Life is good!

Also, yes I know this post is late. My bad!
