Blind Box & Bag Roundup 43. (Kingdom of Cute Vinylmations)

Vinylmation x WonderGround Gallery Kingdom of Cute
Happy Wednesday and welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup! Ever since the Vinylmation x WonderGround Gallery Kingdom of Cute blind boxes were released last month, I’ve been itching to get my hands on them (they’re so cute!). This new series features classic Disney ‘icons’ such as Space Mountain, Dole Whips, the Sword in the Stone, Sleeping Beauty Castle and many more, turned into adorable Vinylmation figures! Sadly, they sold out at the Disney Parks (and online) almost immediately after being released (I guess I wasn’t the only one who thought they were adorable!). Seriously, it’s been a while since I’ve seen a Vinylmation series generate this much buzz. No really, I saw people selling unopened boxes on eBay for $50+ (that’s insane!). Luckily, while I was at Disney World a few weeks ago, WonderGround Gallery restocked the Kingdom of Cute Vinylmations. So of course I had to pick some up. Although I really love Vinylmation’s (you can check out more Vinlymation openings HERE), I haven’t really bought any lately because there’s just so expensive ($12 per figure definitely adds up FAST!) Even though this has got to be my FAVORITE Vinylmation set to be released thus far, I decided to only pick up two Kingdom of Cute Vinylmations (since they were $18.99!).  Continue reading

Blind Box & Bag Roundup 42. (Beauty and the Beast Mystery Minis)

Beauty and the Beast Mystery Minis
Happy Tuesday and welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup! I was going to post this yesterday (since I usually post Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s) but since it was a holiday I thought “why not just take the day off!” If you’ve been keeping up with my BB&BR’s then you already know that I am obsessed with the new Funko Mystery Mini mold (it’s so kawaii I can’t even handle it!). I’ve really been loving how many new Mystery Minis Funko has been releasing lately and I was so EXCITED when I heard they were releasing Beauty and the Beast mystery minis! As I’ve said (probably 1,000 times) on the blog before, Beauty and the Beast is my all-time favorite movie! At first I was a little apprehensive when it was announced that Disney was making a live-action version (because NOTHING can compare to the original, well the original animated Disney version) but as soon as I saw the first teaser trailer all of those worries went away! I can’t wait for the live-action Beauty and the Beast to come out next month (I already have my tickets and everything!).  Continue reading

Blind Box & Bag Roundup 41. (Disney Chocolate Surprise Eggs)

Disney Chocolate Surprise Eggs
Happy Monday and welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup (aka the first BB&BR post of the year, woot woot!). If you checked out my Finding Dory Surprise Egg opening or my Frozen Surprise Egg opening then you already know how much I LOVE chocolate surprise eggs (especially Disney themed ones!). There’s just something about chocolate surprise eggs that make me happy (I guess it’s the combination of yummy chocolate and a fun treat/toy inside!). I got these adorable Disney Chocolate Surprise Eggs as early Christmas stocking stuffers (and what awesome stocking stuffers they were) but I just got around to opening them last weekend (since I spent the holidays in Paris and I didn’t want to take them with me on my trip!). Don’t worry though, as you can see on the labeling they don’t go bad until 2018 so it’s all good! It’s so funny because even though I love opening (and eating) chocolate surprise eggs, they’ve always been pretty hard to find (if you checked out my last chocolate surprise eggs then you might recall that the only place I could ever find them, besides online, was Cracker Barrel), until now! I’m so excited because my local grocery store now sells these exact chocolate eggs at the checkout register (which is where my family got these!). Continue reading

Blind Box & Bag 40. (Disney Princess Series 7 Figural Keyrings)

Disney Princess Series 7 Figural Keyrings
Happy Tuesday and welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup! I can’t believe that this is my 40th BB&BR post??! I would have never guessed back in August 2013 when I opened my first ever blind box that I would STILL enjoy collecting and opening blind boxes and bags almost three years later! It’s crazy to think how popular blind boxes and blind bags have became because I remember having to search high and low to find some and how I can’t go into a store without seeing a whole aisle/section dedicated to them (and I can understand why, they’re so cute and who doesn’t love fun surprises?). As some of you may know, I LOVE Figural Keyrings so when I saw these Disney Princess Series 7 Figural Keyrings at Hot Topic last week I knew I had to grab a couple of them. Although I usually keep my Figural Keyrings displayed on a cork board in my room, lately I’ve been starting to hang a few of them from my Disney bag (the backpack I use when I’m visiting the Disney Parks)! Since I’m heading to Disneyland Paris in two weeks (for Christmas/New Year), I definitely wanted to hang a few of the Disney Princess Series 7 Figural Keyrings on my backpack! Continue reading

Blind Box & Bag Roundup 39. (Disney Holiday Mystery Tsum Tsum Pins)

Disney Holiday Mystery Tsum Tsum Pins
Happy Thursday and welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup! Since today’s the first day of December (can you believe it’s DECEMBER already?!), I thought it would be the perfect time to open up the new Disney Holiday Mystery tsum tsum Pin Set I picked up while I was at Disneyland last month! As some of you may know, I’m a HUGE Disney pin lover/collector (I’ve been collecting since 2001) and a huge tsum tsum lover/collector (I’ve been collecting since late 2014). In fact, I’ve had quite a few people ask me about my Disney Pins collection so I definitely plan on sharing a Disney Pins collection post at some point and talking more about which kinds of Disney pins I collect, my favorite Disney pins, tips for pin trading at the Disney Parks and more pin related stuff! Although I already own quite a few Disney tsum tsum pins, I knew I HAD to add some of these adorable holiday pins to my collection (because everything is better when it’s Christmas themed!).  Continue reading
