Disney Tag + Disneyland 60th Anniversary Countdown

Cinderella Funko Pop Cinderella Castle
This Friday I’m heading to DISNEYLAND for the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration! I’m so EXCITED because if you couldn’t already tell, Disney is my LIFE and it has been ever since I was a kid! I have so many fond memories of going to Disney World (basically every year) as a kid and getting to meet Mickey and Minnie. Disney was such a huge part of my childhood and I’m so happy it’s still such a huge part of my adult life! Not only am I going to Disneyland this week, while I’m there I’ll be getting a Disney Premier Passport (which is an annual pass to both Disneyland AND Disney World!) Since I’ll have free admission to both parks for one year, I plan to visit Disney at least once every other month (yes, I’m that serious about my Disney love affair!) To celebrate my upcoming Disneyland trip, I’ve decided to do a ‘Disney Tag.’ Some of these questions I found on Tumblr but most of them I just made up! (Side note: I LOVE this picture I took of my Cinderella Funko in front of Cinderella’s castle at Disney World last Christmas! It was hard to get a great shot since it was so crowded but I’m happy with how it turned out!)

A Spoonful of Sugar Helps the Medicine Go Down

I absolutely LOVE Broadway! If given the choice to see ANY concert I wanted or ANY Broadway show, I’d pick Broadway EVERY TIME! There’s something so magical about the theatre. The singing, the dancing, the elaborate sets, it’s all so amazing. When I was younger I was obsessed with watching movie musicals like The Sound of Music, Funny GirlHairspray, The Wizard of Oz, Annie and West Side Story.

I used to dream that one day I’d be transported into a magical land where people broke out in song and dance (thankfully that never happened because I’ve come to realize it would get annoying rather quickly!)
What I love about Broadway is that it can transport you into your favorite musicals. It’s one thing to watch Lion King on TV but it’s another thing to have the actual animals of Pride Rock walk right pass you as they sing Circle of Life!

Some of my favorite shows include:

“Now say my name…” “Heisenberg” (Favorite TV Shows)

Breaking Bad Funko
Today my FAVORITE show in the entire world, Friends, turns 20 (be sure to check out my BuzzFeed article dedicated entirely to Friends!) I know a lot of people claim to be “TV lovers” but television is truly my life! I don’t know where I’d be if it weren’t for certain TV shows. Before Netflix and streaming shows got so popular (and easy), one of my favorite things to do was to buy the complete DVD series of my favorite shows! The shear money I’ve spend in my 22 years of life on TV show merchandise alone is a little insane (but worth it!) In fact, I love Friends (and TV in general) so much I’m actually flying to New York just to see the Central Perk Pop Up Coffee shop (I’m actually going to NYC for two work related assignments, but the fact that I’ll be there in time to see Central Perk is just an added BONUS!)

I Wanna Do Bad Things With You (True Blood Finale)

I can’t believe today’s the SERIES FINALE of True Blood! If I’m being perfectly honest, the show started to go south in season three and completely jumped the shark with the introduction of Fairies (aka the most ANNOYING characters in the history of television) but it is still a huge guilty pleasure show of mine! I love seeing what’s going on with my favorite Bon Temps residents (although, I haven’t watched ANY of this season. I plan on doing a marathon today or tomorrow.) It’s crazy because Sookie was one of my favorite characters when the show started and now she’s one of my least favorite characters. What’s even crazier is Sookie’s not the only character who has gotten more annoying as the show went on (I’m looking at you Bill, Sam, Jason and I’m sorry to say Alcide!) In fact, Pam is one of the only characters who I’ve completely loved from beginning to end. Even though the show is not half as good as it was, there’s a part of me that will always love True Blood.
