I just love fall so much. The amazing weather, the leaves changing colors, pumpkin related everything. Fall is just such a great season. Speaking of spring weather, it seems like fall is finally hitting Chicago.  (Event thought fall doesn’t technically start for another week). The weather has been amazing lately which means, Loki gets extra outside play time!

(And extra time to play with all his favorite toys).

You know how they say dogs can start to look/act like their humans as time goes by? I can definitely agree with that because Loki is like me in so many ways. As you all know, I LOVE holidays. Christmas, Halloween, you name it, I love it. Loki is big on holidays too. In fact, one of Loki’s favorite holidays is coming up soon: National Fetch Day!

I don’t know why but for some reason it still feels like spring to me. Well..okay, technically it IS still spring. What I meant was it still feels like late April/early May to me. Crazy to think that we’re already almost halfway done with June. And that we’re halfway done with 2019?! 

Regardless of whether or not it’s spring or summer, the weather here in Chicago has been AMAZING lately. Every day the weather has been in the high 60’s, 70’s and sometimes 80’s! Perfect weather if I do say so myself. Not only have I been enjoying this gorgeous weather, Loki has too!

Loki loves being able to get some good ole fresh air after dinnertime.

It’s his favorite way to relax on these warm spring (almost summer) nights. The sun has set for the most part, there’s a nice breeze and his favorite new toy is ready to be played with!

Does the name make the person or the person make the name? (Or dog in this case!). People often ask me why I named Loki “Loki.” And if I named him after the Marvel villain or not. The short answer is no. I completely made the name up out of thin air when I adopted him. Just kidding, of course I named Loki after the Marvel character. I partly named him Loki after the Marvel villain and partly because I love Tom Hiddleston (the actor who plays Loki), so it works on two levels.

The name Loki definitely fits my little Loki perfectly! Just like the infamous Marvel villain, he’s super mischievous but you can never stay mad at him for too long and you can’t help but love him. 

Even when he’s making a huge mess!
