Kawaii Box Review + GIVEAWAY | Monthly Kawaii Subscription Box

April 19, 2017

Monthly Kawaii Subscription Box
Is it just me or is getting mail the best feeling in the world?! Packages, letters, catalogs, heck even junk mail, I love it all! I love snail mail so much even though I’m usually the one sending it (sometimes it’s better to give than to receive!) On the rare occasion that a friend (or anyone) does send my a letter or package, it definitely becomes the highlight of that day! Since Monday was my birthday, I got a bunch of fun packages and birthday cards in the mail all weekend long. Among my pile of awesome birthday mail surprises was a Kawaii Box! Kawaii Box is a monthly subscription service that sends you a box filled with a carefully selected mix of unique Japanese and Korean kawaii products. Each month you can expect to get 10-12 adorable Kawaii items delivered right to your front door! If you’re like me and love all things adorable, Kawaii Box is well worth the $20+/month (with free WORLDWIDE shipping!)  Continue reading

TokyoTreat Monthly Japanese Candy & Snacks Box Review

December 21, 2016

Happy Wednesday! Can you believe that Christmas is only FOUR days away? Since I’m spending the holidays in Paris (I leave TOMORROW), my family spent last weekend opening up all of our Christmas presents (shoutout to Santa for delivering all the gifts a week early to accommodate our travel plans!). If it wasn’t obvious from all my blind box and bag openings, I LOVE a good surprise! It’s always so much fun opening up something and not knowing exactly what you’ll get (speaking of opening things/gifts, I’m so grateful for all the wonderful gifts I got for Christmas this year!). That’s why I love subscription boxes, it’s like Christmas every month (and who doesn’t love Christmas?)! If you know me, or if you checked out my YumeTwins review last week, then you already know that I’m OBSESSED with Japanese culture and all things kawaii (seriously, it’s the BEST)! That’s why I was super excited when YumeTwins contacted me and asked if I wanted to review not only one of their YumeTwins boxes (you can check out that review HERE) but one of their TokyoTreat boxes as well! YumeTwins Monthly Kawaii Box Review

December 14, 2016

YumeTwins Monthly Kawaii Box
Fun fact: I am OBSESSED with Japanese culture and all things kawaii! Seriously, whenever I visit Epcot at Walt Disney World, I always rush over to the Japan Pavilion in the World Showcase so I can visit my favorite gift shop of all-time, the Mitsukoshi Department Store! Speaking of Japan and the Disney Parks, I’m super EXCITED because I’ve decided to spend next Christmas at Tokyo Disneyland (I know this Christmas hasn’t even passed yet but I like to think/plan ahead!). Since I’m breaking my normal tradition of spending Christmas (and New Years) at Disney World and am spending it at Disneyland Paris this year (I leave in EIGHT days), I’ve decided that I want to start spending every Christmas at an international Disney park from now on. I literally JUST decided on this last weekend so I still have a lot of planning/research to do but I’m still super excited! It’s so funny because the SAME day I told my mom about my plans for next Christmas, my YumeTwins Monthly Kawaii Box arrived (I don’t know about you but I don’t think that was a mere coincidence, I think it was a SIGN!). Disneyland Memorabilia Park Pack copy 2

Disneyland Memorabilia Park Pack

June 9, 2016

Disneyland Memorabilia Park Pack
Back in May, Disney released a one-time-only, mystery-boxed collector’s memorabilia Park Pack that was aimed to “take you back to the opening day of Disneyland park on July 17, 1955.” The set (which was priced at $99) had a limited edition size of 1,200 and the contents of the mystery-boxed package was hinted to include “a mix of items ranging from sculptured replicas and medallions to paper collectibles.” Being the HUGE Disney (if you couldn’t tell from my MONTHLY Disney Parks trips or from the fact that 80% of the last 10 posts on this blog have been Disney themed) and blind box/mystery lover that I am, I knew I couldn’t pass this box up! Vintage-themed Disneyland merch? YES PLEASE! I’m so glad that Disney is expanding the Park Pack beyond just pins (you may remember my Disney Park Pack pin reviews from last summer!). Supposedly, Disney is releasing another non-pin Disney Park Pack in July that is Disney ear hat ornament themed (I can’t wait, I LOVE Disney ornaments/Disney themed Christmas stuff!). August 2015 Disney Park Pack + Disney World TOMORROW

August 22, 2015

August Disney Park Pack
Happy Saturday! I know I don’t usually post on weekends but since I’m heading to Disney World TOMORROW (I’m so excited), I wanted to get this post up before my trip. Although I’m still really into the idea of the Disney Park Pack’s, I’ve noticed quite a few people have been disappointed with them. In fact, while May, June and July’s Park Pack’s were snatched up within minutes of their release, this month’s took over five days to sell out. I do understand that they’re a little pricey and the pins released up until this point might not have been everyone’s cup of tea (I’ve liked them all so far) but for now, I still think they’re worth it (fingers crossed for a Beauty and the Beast Park Pack LE pin in the near future!)
