Welp, Christmas/the holidays are officially over. Cue the sad music and me crying. Sigh. This is truly my FAVORITE time of year and it always saddens me when it has to come to an end. Part of the reason why I start decorating for Christmas November 1st is because I just love Christmas decor so much. I can’t describe it but it just makes me so happy. If there was a way I could keep up my Christmas tree year round I would.

Long time no see! I feel like I’m constantly saying that here on the blog. I promise I want to be more active with blogging but life keeps getting in the way I guess. What’s crazy is I have so many blog posts ideas (and a few drafts) but I just can’t seem to find the time to edit/post. It’s like I’ll start editing photos or writing out a post and then BOOM! something comes up and I have push back the post.

I have three posts I’ve been meaning to publish for almost two months now (one of which is almost done but it still needs to be edited a bit) but one thing after another keeps popping up and leaving me no time to edit/blog. There’s been some big changes in my life recently (with more to come, fingers crossed) that definitely take precedence over blogging BUT I’m really trying to find a balance.

Hopefully I can learn to balance things a little better!

Hey guys, long time no see. Or read…technically. I thought I’d stop by today and give you guys a small life update. There’s been a lot of new things going on in my life lately. A lot of it I can’t share…yet…but don’t worry, it’s all good things. 2020 was such a trying year, not just for me but for most people. I’m so glad things are finally sort of, for the most part, going back to normal. 

2020 seemed to go on forever. It’s crazy to think we are more than HALFWAY done with 2021. Seriously, where has the time gone?! Although things aren’t 100% back to how they were pre-2020 (some things will never be the same), I’m learning to take life day by day. I’m learning to enjoy the little things in life again.

Long time no see. Happy New year! It’s been about 9 months since I’ve written a blog post. When my blog hosting expired back in August I went back and fourth about just not renewing it and deleting this blog all together. But I knew I wouldn’t be about to forgive myself because this blog just holds so many memories. Even if I don’t update it much anymore, I at least want those memories/old posts to look back out. I’ve grown so much as a person since started this blog back in 2013 and I it really makes me smile going back and re-reading old posts.
