The BEST Quick-Service Restaurant in Disney World

February 24, 2020

Satu'li Canteen the best Quick-Service Restaurant in Disney World
It’s crazy because even though I was just at Disney World last week, I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve been. Although, constantly missing Disney is just a normal thing for me. Today, I wanted to share a little trip report from my last visit to Disney World. You thought this was going to a full on restaurant review, right?

See, even bloggers can clickbait. Although technically it’s not clickbait since I will be revealing (what I believe to be) the BEST quick service restaurant at Disney World.

Any guesses? (Well, the photo does sort of give it away).

Disney’s Animal Kingdom During Christmastime

December 23, 2019

Happy Monday. You guys, it’s Christmas Eve Eve. YAY! Today I wanted to share some more bits and pieces of my recent trip to Disney World. Originally I was going to do one big post about my trip but I thought it would be better to break up the posts. (And highlight each different park in its own post).

So this post is dedicated to one of my all time favorite parks: Animal Kingdom. Fun fact: Animal Kingdom was my favorite park when I was a kid and I even got to visit it its opening year!

Here are a few photos from my recent trip to Animal Kingdom:

Breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant | Walt Disney World

Breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant in Animal Kingdom
Since becoming an Annual Passholder in 2015, I’d say I’ve visited the Disney Parks, at minimum, at least five or six times a year. People often ask me “How is it that you don’t get tired/sick of Disney?.” The truth is, there’s ALWAYS something new to discover or experience at Disney. No Disney trip is like the last. For me, something that I always try to do is dine at a new restaurant during each trip.

(Of course I always make room for my staples like Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ and Be Our Guest but I also try to squeeze in a new dining experience as well!).

During my last two Disney trips I dined at a TON of new restaurants so I wanted to share the reviews with you all. It’s been a hot minute since my last Disney Restaurant Review so I’m excited to finally add on to that series.

Today’s post is all about Breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Bits and Pieces: Disney’s Animal Kingdom / Happy Earth Day

April 22, 2019

Animal Kingdom Tree of LifeHappy Monday/Earth Day/birthday to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Fun fact: Animal Kingdom was my favorite park when I was a kid (now as an adult, Epcot is my favorite). I remember watching the news and seeing updates on how the Tree of Life was going to be built and how it was going to look. I even got to visit Animal Kingdom during it’s opening year back in 1998. Even though I was only six at the time, I will never forget the first time I laid eyes on the Tree of Life.

I’m pretty sure my jaw dropped to the ground.

Even to this day, 21 years later, the Tree of Life is still one of the most beautiful sights in all of Disney World. To honor one of my favorite parks, on their 21st birthday (DAK can finally drink!), I wanted to share a few photos from my recent trip to Disney World last week!

Dining at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora | Walt Disney World

Pandora – The World of Avatar
Happy Tuesday! I JUST got back from an impromptu trip to Disney World (last minute trips are always my favorite) and boy was it amazing (as always!). One of my favorite things about Disney is that no matter how many times I visit (which, trust me, is a lot! In the past two years alone I’ve visited 20+ times), there’s always something new to see and explore.

This trip I was super exited to finally be able to visit Pandora – The World of Avatar, which is the newest land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Although I’m not the biggest Avatar fan (I think the film was a visual masterpiece and I’m glad I got to experience it in IMAX 3D when it first came out but story wise, it was a little forgettable in my opinion), I thought that Pandora was breathtaking and a definite must see! Trust me, you do not have to be an Avatar fan to be able to appreciate all the beauty Pandora has to offer!

Speaking of things Pandora has to offer, along with getting to experience the two new rides in Pandora, I was really excited to try out some of the new Avatar-inspired food during my visit! Continue reading
