Visiting Casa Loma in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Fun fact: I LOVE X-Men. The X-Men were such a huge part of my childhood. From the comics to the several TV shows to the films, if it was X-Men related, I was here for it! In fact, before I named my dog Loki, I was seriously considering naming him after my all-time favorite Marvel villain, Magneto!

(What is it with me and villains?).

Speaking of Marvel, today marks day one of ACE Comic Con Midwest! (And I get to meet Marvel legends like Chris Evans and Tom Hiddleston). I can’t wait to pick up my press badge today after work. You can expect a full recap of ACE Comic Con Midwest probably on Monday.

But back to X-Men, as soon as I found out I’d be visiting Toronto, I knew that I HAD to visit Casa Loma. Aka the X-Mansion. Casa Loma is a gothic Revival style mansion and garden in midtown Toronto, that is now a museum and landmark. Continue reading →

Graffiti Alley in Toronto, Ontario
It’s official, I LOVE Canada! Even though I only spent a week there, I feel like I got to see SO much of Toronto. I’m telling you, if I ever decided to move to another country, Canada is at the top of my list. 

(I mean, Canada’s healthcare system alone is reason enough to move there/become a citizen!).

I did a lot of research on “Things to do in Toronto” before my trip and one of the places I knew I had to visit was Graffiti Alley. Graffiti Alley is essentially exactly what it sounds like. It’s a collection of long alleyways where you can view graffiti from various artists. 

And you all know how much I LOVE street art.
