2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays Cookie Stroll

December 18, 2019

2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays Cookie Stroll
I’m back from Disney so obviously that means it’s time for another Disney post. If you’ve been following me/this blog for a while then you already know how much I LOVE Epcot. In fact, Epcot is my absolute favorite Disney Park. (Epcot is kind of a weird park because people either love it or hate it. Me? I love it!).

One of the things I love the most about Epcot is its many festivals. There are currently four Epcot festivals; the International Festival of the Arts, the Food & Wine Festival, the Flower and Garden Festival and the Festival of the Holidays. (*Cough* the International Festival of the Arts is the best by a LONG shot *cough*).

Today’s post is dedicated to the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays Cookie Stroll!

Happy Holidays Tag

December 6, 2019

Krispy Kreme Holiday Donuts It’s FRIDAY! It’s been a hot minute (aka over a year) since my last Q&A/Tag post so I thought it would be fun to share another one today. I know I’ve already done a Christmas Tag post but that was back in 2016 so I think it’s okay to share an updated one. Don’t worry, this Tag will have different holiday questions. But be sure to check out my Winter Wonderland Tag from 2016 HERE. (I promise it’s worth a read!).

Quick side note, how adorable and festive are those Kripsy Kreme doughnuts?

Onto the tag:

2019 Macy's Holiday Windows on State Street in Chicago
Happy December friends. I know I missed Monday’s post but I’ve been busy, busy, busy at work!  BUT, I’m so excited because I have so much to look forward to in the next few weeks. This week at work I have back to back meetings daily and then Friday/this weekend I’m heading to DC. Next week I’m going to Disney World. And then I only have one week of work before NINE days off for Christmas. (We get Christmas Eve and Christmas off but I requested the whole week off).

December, I know you just started but I love you already!

Yesterday during my lunch break I decided to walk over to Macy’s and check out this years holiday window displays. (Throwback to last years/the 2018 Macy’s Holiday Windows on State Street in Chicago). And they were SO cute.

New Christmas Tradition: Opening Disney Sock Advent Calendars

New Christmas Tradition: Opening Disney Sock Advent Calendars
Christmas time is my absolute FAVORITE time of year. (I mean, I’m sure that’s obvious by now). Each year I love picking out a new advent calendar to help me countdown to Christmas. For the past few years I’ve been doing LEGO themed advent calendars. This year LEGO released a super cute Star Wars and Harry Potter advent calendar.

While I love those two franchises, I wanted to do something a little different this year. I always see sock advent calendars but I never thought to get one. But this year that changed! Side note: is it just me or does anyone else’s socks just magically disappear throughout the year? I swear I start the year off with x amount of socks and by the holidays I’m left with four or five pairs.

Where do the socks go?!

Here’s my Disney sock advent calendars for 2019: Continue reading

Christmas Traditions: Picking Out Christmas Wrapping Paper (2019)

November 22, 2019

Cute Christmas Wrapping Paper
Yes it’s November and yes I’m already done Christmas shopping. Well, 95% done. I’m picking up one or two more things on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Needless to say, Christmastime is among us. (At least for me it is and has been since November 1st).

It’s no secret I LOVE Christmas (and every holiday). And I have so many fun Christmasy things to do this weekend. Today, after I see Frozen II of course, I’m going to a Christmas themed pop up bar here in Chicago. And tomorrow is the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival! I LOVE the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. Attending the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival is one of my favorite holiday traditions. Speaking of holiday traditions, it’s that time of year again:

Time to share my new wrapping paper haul!
