Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a HUGE X-Men fan! I grew up on X-Men! From the comics, to the films to the animated television shows, the X-Men were a huge part of my childhood. I remember being 10 years old and  wanting to dye a section of my hair white to look like Rouge. 

I seriously cannot wait for this film to come out! First of all, I LOVE the posters for this movie! The posters feature Professor X from the past and future (Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy) as well as past and future Magneto (Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender.) 

Can we just talk about how AWESOME Magneto is as a character! Let’s skip the fact that two of my FAVORITE actors (Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender) play him! Just the general storyline of Magneto and The Brotherhood have always been so appealing to me. What I always loved about The X-Men is you can clearly see and understand where BOTH Magneto and Professor X are coming from. 

Days of Future Past acts as a sequel to both 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand and 2011’s X-Men: First Class. Several actors from the past X-Men franchise are confirmed to return, including Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, and James McAvoy.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to be released on May 23, 2014 (aka my mom’s birthday!)
