Happy Friday aka happy Beauty and the Beast live-action release day (and also happy St. Paddy’s day)! Speaking of Beauty and the Beast, I saw it last night and I’m not really sure how I feel about it yet. Since Beauty and the Beast is my FAVORITE movie, I already knew that I’d be more critical (and constantly comparing it to the animated version) than the average viewer. Although I really did like the humor, the new characters and the fact that the live-action version covered a lot of plot holes that the animated one didn’t, it was the songs/singing that was a little lack luster to me (I mean the music is what makes BATB, in my opinion!).
Also, here’s a little fun fact for you all: my birthday is in EXACTLY one month (aka April 17th!). That means in exactly one month I’ll be 25?! Whether it be somewhere in the parks that I’ve never tried before or at somewhere in Downtown Disney (if I’m visiting Disneyland) or Disney Springs (if I’m visiting Disney World). With the recent expansion of Disney Springs last year, I’ve come across so many new eateries that I’ve been itching to try out (because who doesn’t love food?).
During my most recent trip to Disney World last week, I decided to finally give Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ a try (after reading and hearing so any AWESOME reviews about it!). Continue reading →
