A Guide to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World

August 28, 2019

A Guide to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney WorldI wouldn’t say I’m the biggest Star Wars fan out there, but I’m definitely a huge fan of the franchise. I remember seeing The Phantom Menace opening weekend back in 1999. Can’t believe I was only 7 at the time! Honestly, that’s probably where my love of Ewan McGregor came from. Any who, although the prequels weren’t that good, at least we have the originals and the new trilogy. Right. Right?

During my quick trip to Disney World last week, I had the incredible opportunity to preview the new Star Wars land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. While Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been open at Disneyland for a few months now, its Disney World counterpart does not officially open until tomorrow, August 29th! Getting a chance to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge before it opened to the public was seriously a dream come true!

Here’s a little recap of my visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World:

2019 Disney Halloween Merchandise | Disney World | World of Disney Halloween MerchandiseFall is officially here! Just kidding. But I wish it was. Go away summer, you’ve overstayed your welcome. Fall might not be here just yet, BUT, the 2019 Disney Halloween Merchandise has officially been released. And spoiler alert: It’s all so adorable! Like seriously, I want it ALL.

The photos in this post were all taken at the World of Disney in Disney Springs, however, a lot of this merchandise can also be found on Shop Disney online. (Which is perfect for those, like me, who don’t live near Disney)!

Here’s the new 2019 Disney Halloween Merchandise:

Breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant | Walt Disney World

Breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant in Animal Kingdom
Since becoming an Annual Passholder in 2015, I’d say I’ve visited the Disney Parks, at minimum, at least five or six times a year. People often ask me “How is it that you don’t get tired/sick of Disney?.” The truth is, there’s ALWAYS something new to discover or experience at Disney. No Disney trip is like the last. For me, something that I always try to do is dine at a new restaurant during each trip.

(Of course I always make room for my staples like Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ and Be Our Guest but I also try to squeeze in a new dining experience as well!).

During my last two Disney trips I dined at a TON of new restaurants so I wanted to share the reviews with you all. It’s been a hot minute since my last Disney Restaurant Review so I’m excited to finally add on to that series.

Today’s post is all about Breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Bits and Pieces: 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

June 3, 2019

2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden FestivalIt’s officially the last day of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! Womp womp. So I thought today would be the perfect time to finally share a little recap about my trip to this years festival. I’ll be breaking up this post into three main categories: food, topiaries and random photos.

As you all know, or might not know, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is my FAVORITE Epcot festival. Well, at least it used to be. I’m not going to lie, this year left me feeling a little underwhelmed. Dare I say that the Epcot International Festival of the Arts has officially taken the spot of my favorite Epcot festival?!

Plot twist.

Bits and Pieces: Disney’s Animal Kingdom / Happy Earth Day

April 22, 2019

Animal Kingdom Tree of LifeHappy Monday/Earth Day/birthday to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Fun fact: Animal Kingdom was my favorite park when I was a kid (now as an adult, Epcot is my favorite). I remember watching the news and seeing updates on how the Tree of Life was going to be built and how it was going to look. I even got to visit Animal Kingdom during it’s opening year back in 1998. Even though I was only six at the time, I will never forget the first time I laid eyes on the Tree of Life.

I’m pretty sure my jaw dropped to the ground.

Even to this day, 21 years later, the Tree of Life is still one of the most beautiful sights in all of Disney World. To honor one of my favorite parks, on their 21st birthday (DAK can finally drink!), I wanted to share a few photos from my recent trip to Disney World last week!
