Hello and happy June! Wait…it’s June?! How are we already SIX MONTHS into 2022? I feel like 2020 was really slow (for obvious reasons) but 2021, and now 2022, went by at light-speed. Maybe it’s because I’m busier now and that’s why I feel like time is going by so fast? You know what they say, “time flys when you’re having fun.”
Off topic but who else watched the new season of Stranger Things last Friday? It’s crazy to think season 3 came out in 2019/three years ago. I know covid prevented them from filming for a bit but that’s such a long time between seasons. Did you guys like the new season? Personally I love it and it might be my favorite season since season one.
Happy Monday everyone! I got back from my birthday Disneyland trip last Monday (technically Tuesday morning) so it’s the perfect time to start sharing little bits and pieces from the trip. It’s weird because normally I write my blog posts on my laptop but today I’m typing it up on my iMac so it’s a little different. I don’t use my iMac much so I’m trying to give it a little more attention.
Any who, you all know that I love a good Epcot festival. The Festival of the Arts, the Flower and Garden Festival, the Festival of the Holidays and, of course, the Food and Wine Festival. But oddly enough, I’ve never gotten to experience a festival at DCA. So I was super excited when I learned that my birthday trip was going to fall during the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.
Here’s a little mini recap of the 2022 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival:
As you all know, I LOVE holidays. No really, I love them. Christmas, Halloween, Easter, heck even Arbor Day! I just love celebrating. And no one does the holidays quite like the Disney Parks. With Halloween right around the corner, you might be wondering “Which is better during Halloween time, Disneyland or Disney World?”. Well, today I’m here to answer that question.
I’m going to be rating the parks based on five categorizes: Halloween Parties, Ride Layovers, Other Offerings Nearby, Treats and Decor. Each category will have a “winner”. In the end, the park with the most wins…wins!
Also, this post is essentially comparing Magic Kingdom (located in Walt Disney World Resort) and Disneyland (located within Disneyland Resort) during Halloween time.
Happy Thursday! It’s a new month, which means it’s time for a new Disney Haul! I just got back from Disneyland yesterday and boy was it AMAZING! Although I visited Disney World back in May and August and Disneyland Paris back in April, it had been nearly EIGHT months since my last trip to Disneyland (the last time I visited was in February for Valentine’s Day!). What I love so much about the Disney Parks is that while they’re very similar, they are also so different from each other. Disney World is slightly different than Disneyland and Disneyland Paris and so on. There’s just something about Disneyland in particular that just makes my heart happy. I think because Disneyland is so small it feels a little more intimate than some of the other Disney Parks (with that being said, I don’t have a “favorite” park, I love ALL of the Disney Parks hence why I visit them so often!). Disneyland is just such a magical place and I can’t wait to visit it again in TWO WEEKS (you gotta love back to back Disney trips) when all the Christmas decorations are on display. Like I say in all my Disney Haul posts, a quick disclosure: since I am a Disney Premier Passport holder (aka someone who has an annual pass to both Disneyland AND Disney World), I get a pretty good discount on merchandise (20% off at Disneyland and 10% off at Disney World.) . Here’s my 2016 Halloween Disneyland Haul: Continue reading
Happy Friday (raise your hand if you’re excited that it’s finally the weekend!). Today I’m back with another Disney Restaurant Review (I have so much fun with these posts)! Since I’m heading to Disneyland next week (I’m so excited), I thought “what better time to share another Disney Restaurant Review?” I know I’ve said this many times on the blog before but one of my favorite things about visiting the Disney Parks is the FOOD! While most people probably associate Disney with other amusement parks and think it’s all about the rides, us Disney Parks lovers know the truth. Disney is SO much more than just rides. What makes a visit to the Disney Parks so magical is the Disney atmosphere itself and that atmosphere consists of the rides, parades, shows, fireworks, shopping and of course, the FOOD!
