Happy Monday Everyone! I still can’t believe I blogged everyday (Monday-Friday) last week! I pushed myself and I actually did it. Ever since I started blogging almost two years ago (wow, I can’t believe that in 3 months Simply Sinova turns two) I’ve wanted to try daily blogging. It’s kind of been a personal goal that I’ve wanted to cross off for a while now but with school (back in 2013 & early 2014) and work (now) it seemed impossible but I managed to do it! In fact, I’ve decided to continue this new pattern and blog everyday this week as well! To celebrate, I decided to treat myself with a little Dunkin’ Donuts last weekend and since they’re celebrating one year of their DD Perks Rewards Program, I thought it was perfect timing! 

One year ago (January 27,) Dunkin’ Donuts launched its DD Perks® Rewards program, offering guests nationwide points toward free Dunkin’ Donuts beverages for every visit they make at participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations! I am OBSESSED with DD Perks! I’m a sucker for reward’s programs and this one is no exception! I love starting my day with a Dunkin’ Donuts bagel and an Iced Coffee (or Hot Chocolate if it’s really cold out!) With DD Perks, I earn five points for every dollar I spend on qualifying purchases at Dunkin’ Donuts when I pay using my Dunkin’ Donuts Card, either plastic or via the Dunkin’ Mobile App (I mostly use the app!) But that’s NOT ALL! Once a member accrues 200 points, he or she receives a coupon for a free any size (ANY SIZE) beverage of their choice, redeemable at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.

I celebrated my week of daily blogging and DD Perks One Year anniversary with a half dozen of my FAVORITE donuts: strawberry sprinkled, chocolate sprinkled and a french cruller (I got two of each, hence the half dozen!) Meaning, I got major points added to my DD Perks account this weekend (that FREE beverage is calling my name!) DD Perks members also receive a coupon for a free, any size beverage upon enrollment and on their birthday. Additionally, throughout the year DD Perks members receive exclusive, personalized, special offers to earn bonus points for specific food and beverage purchases. As a ‘Thank You’ to their amazing fans (hey, that’s me) for their support since launching DD Perks one year ago, Dunkin’ Donuts created this short, uplifting video:

It’s Beginning to Look (and Taste) a Lot Like Christmas

One of my favorite things about the holiday’s is all the yummy food! Thanksgiving turkey, Christmas ham, sweet potato pies, gingerbread cookies, peppermint candy canes and of course, hot chocolate! Hot Chocolate is my all-time FAVORITE winter drink and no one makes it better than Dunkin’ Donuts. I love starting my day with a mug of DD Hot Cocoa (and thanks to my Keurig I can have it whenever I want!) It’s starting to get a little chilly in Chicago (surprisingly, the weather has been really reasonable) so I often run to Dunkin Donuts in the morning so I can have something warm for the commute to work (they recently build one within walking distance from my house so it’s super convenient!) One of my favorite things about my local DD is that they’re always emailing me discounts or sending me coupons in the mail (who doesn’t love a good discount/coupon?) In fact, having a good rewards/loyalty program is very important to me!

That’s why I was so excited when Dunkin’ Donuts launched the DD Perks® Rewards program last January! With DD Perks, you earn five points for every dollar you spend when you pay using an enrolled Dunkin’ Donuts Card, either plastic or via the Dunkin’ Mobile® App (I use the app.) Once you get 200 points, you get a coupon for a beverage of your choice (hello Hot Chocolate or Iced Coffee!) What I love about DD Perks is how convenient it is. I’m apart of a lot of reward programs and it gets hard keeping up with all those cards.

With DD Perks, I can just pull out my phone and pay (and get my rewards) using the app! You can also send your friends and family Dunkin’ Donuts gifts cards right from your phone/the app (I just send my mom a virtual gift card since she stops by Dunkin’ Donuts almost every day on her way to work too!)DD Perks Reward Program, DD Perks, DD Perks App, Dunkin' Donuts App
