Happy Monday! Since today is the final day of the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts, I thought “Hey, what better day to do a little recap of the event?.” Even though the event is ending today and this information is pretty useless at this point, I still wanted to share a little bit about my time at the festival. And by “my time at the festival”, I mean talk about all the yummy food I ate while I was there.
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is my second favorite of the Epcot festivals (after the Flower and Garden Festival of course. No shade to the Food and Wine Festival but it’s definitely my least favorite). I mean who doesn’t love looking at cool art while eating good food?! I know it’s the festival of the “arts” but warning, this post is solely about the food. (#SorryNotSorry). In this post I’ll be rating (on a scale on 1-5) all the treats I tried during the festival.
Here’s how I would rate the food at the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts:
If you couldn’t tell, I’ve been uploading a lot of Disney Resturant Reviews lately (this is the third one I’ve posted this summer alone) and it’s mainly because I’ve been having serious Disney withdrawals lately. All of the amazing news that came from D23 last weekend has got me even more excited to visit the Disney Parks (even though most of the new attractions wouldn’t be done until 2021). Since I’ll be visiting Disney World again in about two and a half weeks, I thought today would be perfect timing to share another Disney related post (since you know, I’m obsessed with Disney). I’ve shared this before but whenever I visit the Disney Parks, I always make it my mission to try and eat at at least one new restaurant. Whether it be somewhere in the parks that I’ve never tried before or at somewhere in Downtown Disney (if I’m visiting Disneyland) or Disney Springs (if I’m visiting Disney World). During my last WDW trip (in June) I finally decided to give Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria a try! Continue reading
Last month while I was at Disney World, for the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, I got to FINALLY cross off something that’s been on my Disney bucket list for the longest time: participate in the easter egg hunt Egg-stravaganza at Epcot! Although I’ve visited Disney World (and Disneyland) plenty of times during the spring in the past, my trips never coincided with when the Easter Egg Hunt Egg-stravaganza was taking place (last year I literally missed it by two weeks!). The Easter Egg Hunt Egg-stravaganza (which takes place in Epcot at Disney World, Disneyland, California Adventure and Downtown Disney) is a fun, egg-themed scavenger hunt (for both kids and adults) where participants search for special hidden Disney themed “eggs” and record their discoveries by placing the corresponding Disney character’s sticker on the specially themed Egg-stravaganza map to represent that location. Long time no see! I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve blogged (okay, it’s only been a week but that’s a long time in the blogging world!). I don’t know if there’s just something in the air but I’ve been crazy sick lately (some of you may or may not recall that I had a bad case of pneumonia not to long ago!). No really, I literally spent 85% of last week in bed surrounded by the piles of medicine my doctor gave me (hence the lack of blog updates!).
I don’t know about you but I HATE being sick (especially since it doesn’t happen to me that often!). Whenever I’m really sick all I want to do is lay in bed, watch tv and sleep (which doesn’t sound all that bad but it definitely doesn’t help me be productive in anyway!). It’s crazy to think that not just three weeks ago, I was roaming around sunny Florida (although it was unseasonably cool) enjoying the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival!
I’ve said this before but the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is absolutely breathtaking and I think it’s something ALL Disney lovers should experience in person (honestly, you don’t even have to be a huge Disney fan to appreciate all the beauty the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival has to offer!). Happy Wednesday everyone! I know it’s been a while since my last post (almost 12 days, yikes!). In fact, I’m pretty sure this is the longest I’ve gone without posting since I first launched this blog back in 2013 (side note, I can’t believe this blog is turning FOUR years old later this year?! Man does time fly by!). I’ve just been super sick lately (I’ve literally been coughing non-stop for the past three days, which is odd because the weather has been beautiful here in Chicago) and although I’ve wanted to post, I just didn’t feel up to it. That’s one of my favorite things about having a blog, I have the powerful (if you read that in He-Man’s voice then you’re awesome) to update as often as I want! As some of you may know (especially if you follow me on Instagram), I spent last week (and a part of the week before that) at Disney World (aka my second home) exploring the (first ever) Epcot International Festival of the Arts. Although I wasn’t planning on visiting Disney World again until March (for the kickoff of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival), after hearing more details about the Epcot International Festival of the Arts I knew I HAD to check it out (what kind of Disney lover/annual passholder would I be if I didn’t?). So, I decided to take an impromptu trip (I literally planned and booked the trip FOUR DAYS before hand) to Florida! Traveling and Disney are two of my favorite things so whenever the opportunity to combine the two arrives, I JUMP at it! Continue reading
