It’s August, which means it’s almost back to school time! It’s really weird, because this is the first time since kindergarten that I won’t be going back to school. Even though I’m happy I graduated college this May and I am loving post grad life, there is one thing that I’ll miss about going back to school: school supply shopping! I LOVE school supply shopping. In fact, one of my favorite parts about going back to school for the past four years was picking out items to decorate my dorm room. Today, I’ve partnered up with Kleenex and Walmart to put together my ‘Must Have’ dorm room essentials list.
1. Notebooks: What better way to stay organized this upcoming semester than with these adorable Rifle Paper Co. notebooks?
2. Hanging Mirror: Studies show that when you look your best and thus feel your best, you do your best (say that three times fast!)
3. Pillow: It’s important for your dorm room to be comfy and cozy and feel as close to home as possible.
4. Laundry Bag: Those long walks to the laundry room (unless you’re lucky enough to have a washing machine in your dorm/apartment) can be a pain, but this cute bag makes the trip worth it.

6. Lamp: Some older dorms have little or poor lighting so it’s important to utilize as much light as possible.
7. Keurig: You’re going to need a lot of coffee for those late night cram sessions!
8. Printer: I can say from personal experience that having a printer in your room is a big must! You never know when you’re going to need to reprint a paper for an 8am class and who wants to run to a computer lab that early in the morning?
9. Fujifilm Instax Mini 8: They say the memories you make in college last a lifetime and with an instant camera, you’ll have the photos to prove it. Plus the Fujifilm makes an adorable dorm room accessory.
10. Macbook: Like a printer, it’s just convenient to have a personal computer while you’re at college.
