Happy Monday and welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup (aka the first BB&BR post of the year, woot woot!). If you checked out my Finding Dory Surprise Egg opening or my Frozen Surprise Egg opening then you already know how much I LOVE chocolate surprise eggs (especially Disney themed ones!). There’s just something about chocolate surprise eggs that make me happy (I guess it’s the combination of yummy chocolate and a fun treat/toy inside!). I got these adorable Disney Chocolate Surprise Eggs as early Christmas stocking stuffers (and what awesome stocking stuffers they were) but I just got around to opening them last weekend (since I spent the holidays in Paris and I didn’t want to take them with me on my trip!). Don’t worry though, as you can see on the labeling they don’t go bad until 2018 so it’s all good! It’s so funny because even though I love opening (and eating) chocolate surprise eggs, they’ve always been pretty hard to find (if you checked out my last chocolate surprise eggs then you might recall that the only place I could ever find them, besides online, was Cracker Barrel), until now! I’m so excited because my local grocery store now sells these exact chocolate eggs at the checkout register (which is where my family got these!). Continue reading →

Happy Friday! Sorry for the silence here on the blog lately (I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot lately). I’m currently in Orlando and the wifi at my hotel has been HORRIBLE. There was a mini storm (gotta love that Florida weather) earlier this week and it messed up all the routers and the entire hotel has been without wifi for the past few days. On the one hand I was livid because my livelihood depends on having internet access but on the other hand, sometimes unplugging from technology can be JUST what’s needed. Since I’m currently in Florida visiting Disney World (and Universal Orlando, I recently become an annual peashooter there as well), I thought it would be fitting that this week’s Blind Box and Bag Roundup be Disney/Pixar themed. Happy Friday and welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup! Since it’s Disney week here on the blog (in honor of my trip to Disneyland TOMORROW), I thought this would be the perfect time to open a few Frozen Surprise Eggs! I don’t know about you but I LOVE surprise eggs (yummy chocolate AND a cool toy?! How can you go wrong with that!) Since surprise eggs are kind of hard to come by (I know Kinder Surprise Eggs are illegal here in the US due to kids chocking on the small toys), I always try to pick a few up whenever I happen to spot them. Earlier this week while I was having dinner at Cracker Barrel, I happened to spy these little Frozen Surprise Eggs in the little general store area. Since Cracker Barrel is so far (it’s a little under a 40 minute drive from Chicago) and I don’t go there often (I probably go once a year, if that), I knew I had to grab a few Frozen Surprise Eggs before I left (I regret not grabbing more!)  Continue reading →
